Claire has a plan

"Well Nora, maybe your story won't be so grim soon enough."

You look up to see what Claire has to say. "What do you mean?"

"I've got a plan to get out of this place, you want in?"

"What's your plan?"

"Well, I just so happen to have stolen a set of keys from one of the guards pockets. One key unlocks the door to this cage and the other unlocks a hatch out of this basement that we're in, which takes us straight to the outside of the building. They don't leave any guards out there since it's usually locked. From there we should be able to sneak our way out and run far away from this place."

You look down and think all of this over frantically in your mind. Your opportunity to escape this horrible place is finally here. However, despite this you still feel something holding you back, something you don't quite understand.

On top of this you have to weigh up the dangers of the outside world. Could it really be as horrible as Miles had described it. On the other hand, Claire and her family seem to have been living perfectly safe in the outside world before the Black Kings turned up. Which raises another question, how far would you have to travel before you get out of the Black Kings' reach?

All of things weigh on your mind as you try to make this tough decision.
