The next morning, MJ, Kori & M’gann met with Shayera to discuss their findings in their investigation. The group told Shayera about Maxima’s willingness to help, and that she was calling in a favor from a friend – Alisand’r, a Tamaranean woman who also happened to be a Green Lantern. A quick call to Maxima confirmed that Alisand’r had agreed to help, and had started gathering information undercover at the Tamaranean Royal Palace. Shayera, MJ, Kori & M’gann agreed that the evidence they had gathered led to Blackfire, although they weren’t entirely sure who the impostor was. They all agreed to meet with Maxima after she received word from Alisand’r – until then, the trio was free to enjoy their time on Thanagar.

As the trio discussed their plans with their free time, the city of Enndupar came up; supposedly it was a beautiful city, and something of an anomaly among Thanagarians, who were known mostly for how much they valued discipline and battle prowess -- Enndupar, also known as Thanagar's 'City of Lights', was meant to show the softer side of Thanagarian culture, and was considered a more 'romantic' destination. Upon hearing this, M'gann insisted that Kori & MJ take that night to visit the city by themselves, knowing how much they'd wanted a romantic getaway recently. Although the couple would have happily enjoyed M'gann's company, they agreed, promising they'd show M'gann their gratitude when they got back. The date started on a rooftop patio overlooking the city, where MJ & Kori shared a candlelit dinner.

"So, this place is Thanagar's 'city of lights'. You know, I really want to take you to Earth's city of lights," MJ told Kori.

"You mean Paris, do you not?" Kori asked, placing her hand on MJ's.

"That's right, babe. I was actually going to suggest it to you before this whole thing happened. I have to admit, though, this is is a decent alternative -- that's an amazing view," MJ said as she looked at the Enndupar skyline from the pair's rooftop vantage point.

"It really is," Kori agreed. "Though it makes me wonder why M'gann did not join us on this excursion."

"I invited her, but she insisted that we take the evening for ourselves," MJ explained. "She says we can thank her when we get back."

"I'll be more than happy to oblige her. Perhaps we owe it to her to each spend some one on one time with her tomorrow?" suggested Kori.

MJ smiled approvingly at Kori's suggestion."That's a great idea, babe -- I'm sure she'd enjoy that. And, if I'm being honest, so would I."

"I would too. I've grown very fond of M'gann... and our other lovers, of course."

"But I'm still your favorite, right?" MJ smirked.

"Always," Kori said softly, leaning in to kiss MJ.

MJ looked into Kori's eyes lovingly. "Good, 'cause you're my favorite, too. Glad we're on the same page."

The couple happily continued their dinner, followed by a walk, hand in hand, down a popular city promenade. MJ leaned against Kori, her head affectionately resting against her girlfriend's shoulder. Enndupar might not have been Paris, but it had its charms.

"This really is a beautiful city," Kori observed. "I truly hope some day I can properly show you Tamaran."

MJ smiled warmly, excited by the prospect. "I'd love that. With everything you've taught me about your people, it'd be so great to get to know them and your world better. Y'know, so long as I'm not wired up to a control chip."

"I think you would fit in well," Kori mused. "Your uninhibited, bold nature is almost Tamaranean."

"That's all thanks to you, babe. I can't tell you how much you've inspired me since we met," MJ said, reflecting on how much she'd changed since meeting Kori.
