Christopher, a new friend from drama class

Chloe's decision to invite Christopher, a new friend from her drama class, had resulted in an arguement. Firstly, he was a guy. Secondly, he wasn't her boyfriend, who she had been in a relationship with for almost a year. Not that Roy would have been any happier to let her boyfriend go on their family, but right was right.

After nearly three days of arguing about it, Roy finally conceded. He had promised her any friend she chose "no questions asked." As much as the thought of let her bring any guy on their trip sickened him, he had done this to himself. It helped a little that her boyfriend assured him he was okay with Christopher going, and thanked him for hia concern.

Roy didn't meet this new friend until the airport on the day they were leaving, and when he did, his heart sank. Christopher looked like an underwear model from a TV ad. He was tall and athletic-looking with highly styled blonde hair. He was the type of guy who would have zero difficulty in getting girls to drop their panties.

What had he done?

Much to his surprise, as they were boarding the plan, the airline discovered that they had double booked Chloe's seat. They offered a free upgrade to anyone in the party, and while he was still debating whether or not he wanted to leave his daughter alone on the flight with this guy, she took the first class seat and left them.
