“Freeze all five of them,” Katie ordered.

“Katie,” Mark tried to reason. “You don’t even know….”

“I said freeze them!” Katie snapped.

Mark threw up his hands. “Okay, okay, Rachel, Bianca, Hannah, Wendy, Danica Stop.” Just like that, the five women in front of them were frozen in time.

Mark decided to raise no further protest and started to carry the frozen girls to his car. He knew for a long time that Katie had a temper on her and she was a the jealous type. With the packing done, Mark and Katie climbed into the Ford and they were off. The plan would be to return later to move the cars to the wreckers. They drove in silence for a bit, with Mark dodging frozen cars and climbing sidewalks. Mark decided to break the silence when he was able to just drive. "I take it you're mad at them."

“Very much." Katie seethed her voice hard.

“So what’s the plan to explain Wendy and Danica?”

“I’m hoping the traitors parents think they decided to go on the road trip with Rachel.”

“That’s banking on a lot.”

“I don’t care, I want them frozen.”

“Fair enough,” Mark sighed as he drove on the wrong side of the road to go around a time-stopped SUV. He honestly could not wait to get home. They had new dolls and Katie really needed some space.
