Christmas Woes

It was no secret that an angry Hermione is a frightening Hermione, especially in matters relating to her boyfriend Ron Weasley.

At twenty years old Miss Hermione Granger turned heads by returning to Hogwarts to complete her N.E.W.T.S. rather than forgoing to the test and the year itself like many of her fellow seniors. Therefore, rather than entering the adult world or taking a break from the world as many would Miss Granger elected to return to school with plans of meeting her boyfriend for Christmas. That was until a recent owl from her boyfriend informed her that he would be unable to meet her at the station or even at the Burrow, the Weasley Family Home.

Instead, the Weasley Family would be busy until the day before Christmas Eve and her boyfriend in turn suggested Hermione spend time with her family. A family who had yet to forgive the young Granger for erasing their memory, upending their family, and all but destroying their business thanks to spending a year in Australia under a false identity. One that didn’t provide them with proper jobs really and now the Elder Granger couple have spent the last year attempting to reclaim old patients, reclaim their business, and more importantly reclaim their lives.

Spending time with their sole daughter was not on their priority list at the moment and so we find Miss Granger angrily storming into her personal room, a gift from the Headmaster but she knew the truth. It was for Hermione’s protection as there were many in the school who saw her as a celebrity and an idol and would hound her nonstop while some of the more troubled students have yet to forgive the brilliant witch for her part in their parents’ downfall.

Sadly, for Miss Hermione Granger her Winter Break is about to turn into a rather memorable one as a surprise laid in waiting within the confines of her private room.
