Chris makes things worse

“Uhhh... Chris? You okay?”

Chris was NOT okay. Apparently, he still hadn’t learned his lesson about how powerful and easy-to-use the ring was. His big mouth had just turned the girl of his fantasies into... well something more. What he was seeing looked like it was ripped from Total Recall except bigger. And clothed, obviously. “3 boobs?” Jessica finished for him. “You’re just now noticing this? It’s not like they’re well-hidden Chris” she said with a sigh as she closed her jacket and zipped it up. Her boobs were so big that she didn’t even try zipping all the way up.

“And the news director is okay with you anchoring despite that?” Chris said, still not fully thinking before speaking. The minute he asked, he felt a headache crack like a lightning bolt through his forehead.

Jessica’s mood soured at this question. “You know how hard it was for me to get this job” she said bitterly. “I was tested, retested, denied, and lied to for months. I still don’t even get half the air-time as my co-anchor.”

Chris gripped his head as he listened. He had distinct memories of her easily getting the anchor job, but he also had memories of her struggling for months to even get the morning anchor spot. Had he just completely rewritten her occupational history with that one question?! Chris realized he needed to fix this mess quickly and salvage what was left of his date.

“Oh, I’m.... I’m sorry Jessica” Chris started, gathering his thoughts to reverse all this.

“It’s fine..” Jessica said as she slung her purse over her shoulder. “I just thought you’d paid more attention to me than you had. I should’ve known better, I am a freak after all.”

“No, Jessica, that’s not it” Chris said apologetically. “I’m just trying to wrap my head around it!” He walked towards her and grabbed her arm gently to make sure she didn’t walk away. She didn’t resist, but he could tell she was mad with him and trying to keep from crying. “Here, let’s start over... You are beautiful. So you have an abnormal amount of breasts? So wha-” Chris stopped abruptly, gripping his head as an even stronger surge of pain crashed into his head. Chris realized suddenly that he had new memories of people in his life growing up with 3 or even sometimes 4 breasts! His question, meant to fix Jessica’s amount of boobs, had backfired and made her multiple tit situation ‘normal’ rather than ‘abnormal’.

Jessica sighed again and stepped back from his grasp. “My breasts are quite normal actually, just larger than most.. can we maybe stop talking about my boobs?” She looked around the mostly empty lot searching for her car to start heading home for the night. “Look, the date was fun Chris, even if it ended on a weird tone-”

“WAIT!” Chris said, trying to stop her in her tracks and put things back to normal. It was getting harder to actually remember what normal WAS with the conflicting memories occupying his head. “I just want to clarify... before you go!” He gritted his teeth, fighting through the overwhelming headache.

“Clarify what, Chris?” Jessica said, folding her arms and clearly annoyed with his boob-centered questions.

“You only have 3 boobs, right?! And they’re really big!” Chris knew she’d be pissed with his questions, but he needed to try and fix her before she left.

“Chris! Enough! No, I don’t ‘only have 3’ and I WISH I only had 3.” The angry tears Jessica had been holding back were now streaming down the sides of her face. “I really thought I’d found a great guy who cared more about me as a person than how many or how big my fucking tits are.” She rubbed at her eyes, trying to still present control over her emotions. “Goodnight Chris, I hope you’re satisfied.” With that, she walked to her car without looking back at him.

Chris stood glued to the spot in shock. After Chris asked his question, he thought he’d see the front of her jacket deflate and return to a smaller and normal size. Instead, he’d watched the outline of a 3rd trio of boobs appear one-by-one on her torso. He hadn’t returned Jessica to normal, he’d given her 6 boobs! On top of that, he’d completely ruined their wonderful date with his crude questions, good intentions or not. Despite all this newly discovered power, Chris felt like he’d never had less control than he did right now.
