Gabe grumbled as he saw the stat layout of his team appear above their heads. He was a gamer at his heart. He was already checking for weaknesses on his team. "What are these even for? I thought the quest was me turning them into my harem? Why do they need stats?"
"Thou shalt not sit idle while working thine trade. The crown prince and his princesses are guardians of the world and will have to fulfill that duty."
"We're going to be fighting shit?"
"Should the need arise."
"Holy shit." He buried his head in his hands. "Okay, okay..." He looked up at the stats again. "Jasmine's the only one with any strength..."
“Very good.” Sky nodes as she observed the newly diverse group. “I will not lie, my world is a dangerous place. Monsters roam the countryside. We will need to give your girls the tools they need to survive. We shall make them heroes of the land.”
“How do we do that?”
“We will give each of our girls a class.”
“Fuck me.” Gabe threw his head back. “Is this just a video game?”
Skye floated, confused. “What do you mean?”
“Let me guess, fighter, mage, rogue.” He crossed his arms, am I correct?”
Skye blushed. “Allow me to reveal the options.”
Warrior: A skilled combatant who uses her enhanced body and physical skills to earn victory. (A Warrior may enhance their Str, Dex, or Con)
Barbarian: A simple combatant who sacrifices their mental agility for physical might. (+Strength)
Rogue: A sneaky combatant who uses their guile and quick feet to come out on top. (+Dex)
Paladin: A strict adherent to The Code of Gabe. Their faith in their master drives them forward on The Quest. (+Con)
Bard: A charismatic support class who supports her allies through song and dance. (+Cha)
Cleric: A believer in the master as a god. This spell caster uses their devotion to overcome any challenge. (+Wis)
Wizard: A learned scholar of the arcane ways. This powerful spell caster has a spell for every occasion. (+Int)
Witch: A follower of the dark path. This spell caster must make contracts and sacrifices to the master to use her magic. (Witch may enhance their Cha, Int, or Wis)
“Uh-huh.” Gabe had done enough dnd to understand the basic idea here. But some of the classes were talking about him being a god.
He couldn’t even keep his job with these girls for 3 months! Now they were supposed to worship him?
He struck himself in the chest three time. "Fuck, okay, coach-mode." Start thinking of a plan, how was he going to put them in the best position to win? "So I give them a class, and they gain another stat point."
"Yes."
"I'm guessing I only get one class each."
"Correct."
"Do they have abilities or... moves, or something like that?"
Skye nodded. "Each class has options, but those are only to be revealed after you choose."
"Okay." Gabe closed his eyes. "Come on, audience, let's figure this out..."
