Chloe tries on new outfits

After the wedding and honeymoon, Chloe finally had some time to sort through her belongings. She had brought several of her favorite outfits along, unsure whether they would fit Clara’s body. Curious, she decided to try them on. She picked out a black crop top, a red mini skirt, and black stockings and heels. They were among her favorites, and fortunately, they fit surprisingly well. Chloe stood before the full-length mirror, adjusting her skirt. She turned sideways, then faced the mirror again, admiring how the outfit looked on Clara’s body. The broader shoulders gave the crop top a different silhouette, while the skirt emphasized her hips. She then glanced down at the noticeable bulge beneath her skirt, surprised by how much she liked the look. Instead of feeling embarrassed, Chloe smiled. “Well, Clara, I think I can make this body look pretty good,” she said to her reflection as she posed with one hand on her hip and tilted her head.

Mark then appeared in the doorway, seeing Chloe’s mischievous grin on her borrowed face. “Someone seems to be enjoying herself,” he remarked. Chloe turned, striking a deliberately dramatic pose. “What do you think? Be honest.” “I think my wife looks gorgeous,” Mark said as he approached and slipped an arm around her waist, looking at their reflection in the mirror. Chloe leaned against him, enjoying the familiar ease between them. He nuzzled briefly against her neck, catching the scent of her shampoo, then kissed her cheek. Mark’s hand settled at her waist before briefly resting over the noticeable bulge beneath her skirt. She glanced down, then met his eyes in the reflection with an amused smile. “Getting a little too comfortable?” she teased. Mark grinned as he answered, “Can you blame me?” Chloe shook her head, smiling, and gave him a playful nudge before stepping away to look at herself once more.

For a moment, she studied her borrowed face in the mirror. Maybe she still wanted her original body back. That hadn’t changed. But she didn’t have to spend every moment wishing for things to return to normal. For now, she could enjoy living in this body, her husband’s company, and the confidence she was gradually finding.
