Chloe Attempts To Make Peace

Chloe stared at Ashley for nearly a minute, as per the usual she started to grow agitated by her sight suddenly Chloe shook her head and felt a shift in her emotions. Chloe hated knowing that she couldn't stand someone, and as much as it seemed like a joke now, Ashley used to be a friend. All they have done during this trip was fight and argue over Zack, and she was just sick of it, it was emotionally and physically draining.

Chloe let out a soft sigh and looked over to Zack, "I'll be back in a few minutes, okay?" She said with a smile,

"Okay, give a holler if you need me," Zack replied with an easy smile, Chloe nodded giving him a quick peck on the lips before getting up and walking away.

Chloe made her way through the woods, looking for Ashley while still thinking about how to talk to her. She didn't want this to break down into another shouting match; she didn't want them to keep doing these mental mind games either, all Chloe wanted from Ashley was to make her understand what she was doing and why she should stop. Chloe started to nod to herself, Ashley was still a person, if she just heard what she was doing to her relationship, maybe she'd stop.

Chloe took in a slow breath as she saw Ashley wandering around, picking up a few sticks, "Ashley." Chloe calmly called out causing the girl to jump and drop the few branches in her hands,

"Ugh, goddamnit Chloe, what are you doing out here?" Ashley snapped back with a hard glare,

"Ashley...I have to do this; I just have to try and talk to you, at least once." Chloe sincerely said causing Ashley to suspiciously raise her brow, "I want just to see if we can reach an...understanding or whatever."

"Aw, isn't that sweet," Ashley sarcastically replied while looking Chloe over, trying to read if she was serious,

"I need to know, why are you trying to ruin this for me?" Chloe softly asked causing Ashley to blankly look back at her, "This is my first real relationship and it's with my best friend." Chloe explained, "Zack and I...we could...Ashley, I could honestly see myself with him forever. But I can't say if he is thinking the same way, and the more you try and pry us apart the worse I feel."

"Chloe...look, I'm-I can't just stop, I need Zack," Ashley tried to explain causing Chloe to purse her lips,

"Why?!" She suddenly exclaimed, "Ashley five days ago you barely talked to him, you were in a healthy relationship with someone who loved you! All that happened between you and Zack was sex; you can't just base a relationship on sex!"

"You don't know what it was like!' Ashley shot back, trying to make Chloe see her side, "Chloe, everything felt right, I felt amazing and not just because of the sex. Zack is just the perfect guy; he doesn't act like a nice guy and try to please everyone, he's real!"

"Yes, he's real, Ashley." Chloe agreed, "And he told you that he wasn't interested in you that way. Ashley, I am so sorry, I can't say that I understand how you feel, but he doesn't want you!"

"He will!" Ashley barked back, "Chloe, I'm not gonna stop because Zack and I should be together! Why don't you just save yourself the trouble and go back there, tell him you just want to be friends before he kicks you aside."

Chloe stared back at Ashley, her brow slowly narrowing. She could scarcely believe that Ashley was still going after Zack, she was heartless! "It's not gonna happen; you're just deluding yourself, Ashley." Chloe angrily replied, "Zack and I won't be broken up by some lustful skank!"

"Oh, we'll see about that," Ashley retorted, "All I know is I am just counting the minutes until I can taste him again," She tacked on while Chloe turned to leave.

Chloe abruptly froze in place and glared back at Ashley, a firey feeling spreading through her veins, "Ashley," She hissed out, "Did you fucking suck Zack off last night while he was sleeping?" She asked while taking a few steps towards her,

Ashley let out a sly smile, take a few steps as well, "I was in the neighborhood last night, and I just happened to see my poor baby with a neglected hard on." Ashley softly replied causing Chloe's eyes to go wide in pure fury, "I couldn't very well just leave him like that." Suddenly Ashley felt an incredibly sharp smack across her face, sending her straight to the ground. Ashley's cheek stung to the point of that it almost seemed to burn; she brought a hand up and slowly rubbed her face as Chloe turned back around, ready to leave her lying in the dirt.
