Childhood

"My childhood." You tell her. "Some of my favorite memories were from my childhood, I just want to keep them with me."

"Certainly," she wrote it down on a note. "We'll adjust it a little bit so you won't remember when it want all downhill but you can keep your childhood memories with you."

"Thank you." You reply nicely.

"Well then, off this way then to your new home." She guided you to another room.

She takes you to a secluded room where a bed and a table with a suitcase on top awaited inside.

"This is it?" You ask confused.

"No," she steps close behind you. "This is step two of your introduction."

She quickly stabs you in the neck with a needle injecting you with an unknown formula into your blood system. It quickly takes effect as you start to lose balance and the walls begin to move.

"I'm sorry Miles." She tells you with a growing echo in her voice as the **** take hold. "But this is the part where you forget...where you adapt..."

You see black as you fade into ****.
