Childhood Part 2. (B)

You ride back home with your parents. You talk about your day with your parents. How you meet this one mean girl name, Veronica. Your parents exchange a concerned look but you reassured them your fine and that two people helped you.

"So who are these friends of yours?" Your parents ask curiously. "They're super cool. One named Dakota and the other name Ash." You say beaming. They smile knowing that you in safe hands.

When you got home your older brother rushes in and hugs you. "I heard from mom that someone was bullying you." He says holding you. You hug him back embracing his warmth. You then explain to him what you explain to your parents earlier.

He looks at you with a smile and holds your hand. When you hold his hand. You can tell he was shaking. He was nervous for you. This made you smile and you hug him again surprising him. He calms down a bit and hugs back.

"Come on kids! Dinner ready!" Your mom says.

Max smiles at you and walk-in the kitchen with you. You walk in smelling chicken pot pie hit your nose. As you sit down at your table with your family. Your other mom speaks up. "How was your day Max?" Your second mom asking your brother.

"I worked on a poetry about flowers." He says poking at his food. He then stops and puts her hand down the table. "What are we going to do with Alex's bullies!" He says determined.

Your parents sigh and look at you for a response.
