Child: Heralds (of The Nameless King)

While The Nameless King prefers communicating his orders to his minions, Children and other servants directly, via telepathy, or through his officers, he knew early on that he couldn’t do that in his role as sovereign of Arcadia. In order to both hide his real identity and appease the general (human) population, he created the heralds for this task. They are regularly sent out and tour the lands, spreading the word of The Nameless King and bringing back news, additional information to that provided by the shadow demons.

The original heralds were created by taking sirens as a template and giving them bird parts instead of those of a fish. As such, they appear to be beautiful, very attractive women, although they don’t possess any reproductive organs. They have a lithe overall appearance and are rather small, standing just 1,49m (4”11’) tall. Instead of a fish-tail, they have two normal (albeit very dainty from lack of use) legs, and a pair of arm-wings with no hands. Their feathers complement their fair skin with their pure white colour and faint glow, making them appear almost angelic. To make it easier for them to fly long distances, they were given small inner organs, low body fat and hollow bones, making them supremely light, weighing just about 36kg (80 lbs)

Since they don’t have hands to groom themselves, they rely heavily on others, mainly servants of The Nameless King in the capital or other big cities. They used to wear light leather armour, high boots and hair ornaments that kept their beautiful, long hair orderly down their backs. The nervous system and metabolism of the heralds have been enhanced to allow them to weather the adverse environmental conditions of high altitude and allow them to stay awake and fly for days.

A herald’s combat strength is almost negligible, their two primary abilities being their capacity to fly for days before needing to land and their siren song/siren call. The latter draws the attention from everyone around, an ability that is certainly helped by their beauty, slim figure, plump breasts (about C cup) and round ass, hidden only by tight leather armour.
