Child: Dragonoids (of the Princessguard)

The dragonoids are dragons for all intends and purposes, safe their size and small differences in their shape. Instead of being massive quadrupeds, they (can) walk on two legs, with their forelegs a mixture between hands and claws, so that they can grip weapons. Even with these alterations, they aren’t delicate enough to perform fine tasks, however. They have a varying number of long, pointed horns, many rows of serrated teeth, sharp spikes on their backs and strong tails and are covered from head to toe in thick, armoured scales. Like most other Children, dragonoids are born genderless.

Their two most notable features however, are their large wings, making them excellent flyers, and their elemental breath. They can use these breath weapons many times at varying intensity and scale before they need some time to recharge it, making it ideal for ‘bombarding’ an enemy **** from the skies or to keep attackers at bay. Each dragonoid is born with a different elemental infusion, determining the element of their breath weapon and making them immune to said element.

Due to their nature as dragons, dragonoids are extremely powerful and have high potential for growth, but mature extremely slowly. As such, the only combat-ready dragonoids that serve The Nameless King today are those that form the Princessguard, being amongst the oldest of his Children. And yet, they are still far from reaching the height of their individual power levels, even though they already arguably surpass the true sons of the Kingsguard.

Dragonoids come in many colours, which aren’t necessarily related to their elemental infusion, the dragonoids of the Princessguard are all bright silver in colouration. Dragonoids can theoretically grow during all of their very long life, although the growth slows down as they age. The dragonoids of the Princessguard are all about 4.5m (14”6’) tall, making them bigger than the inner Kingsguard. Regardless, they are of much lighter build to enable them to fly.
