Chie Satonaka, Hypnotic Tapes

Chie had recently purchased some hypnosis tapes from a shop. She bought them as a way to subliminally influence her friend Naoto, Yukiko, and Rise.

Why? Well, Chie had a crush on Yu, the Investigation team's leader. But she was worried that Yu wasn't interested in her. Everyone always fawned over Yukiko, Rise was...Rise, and Naoto had the advantage of being the popular Detective Prince before her gender was revealed. Chie was just...average.

After weeks of having her friends use the tapes, she had the three of them over at her house for a 'kung fu movie marathon'. In reality, she just wanted to see if the tapes had worked.

"So," said Rise. "What movies are we watching? I've never seen any kung fu movies before!"

"I don't know if you'd like them, Rise-chan," said Naoto. "It's a lot of fake punching people and said people pretending to be hurt."

"Aren't most movies fake though?" asked Yukiko.

Chie took them to her room, and tested the first trigger of the tapes.

"Before we start," Chie said. "I think it's time for a catnap."

The girls all went into a mindless trance.
