Cheer up!

Elle shuddered as the first results appeared. The last thing she wanted was a tie. But soon enough, Cheer up! took a comfortable lead, leaving Elle shivering at the prospects of going back to school tomorrow.

“The results are in! Seems like the audience wanted a more cheerful contestant!”

Elle could only groan at Jack’s lame pun as she felt fabric shifting on her skin. She shivered as her jeans’ legs receded and melded together into a short skirt that left most of her legs exposed. Soon, her navel felt cold as well as her T-shirt tore itself apart, replaced by a crop top that ended just under her breast. Elle felt herself grow a couple of inch as her sandals turned into white boots, which crawled up her calves. As dyes started pouring on her clothes, turning the skirt and top white and red, Elle recognized the uniform. It was the one worn by her school’s team. And if she was right, the last missing piece would appear soon enough. Indeed, she soon felt a tugging on her head as her hair was tied into a neat ponytail, held by an impressive red bow marked with the initials “LH”.

“So, sweetie, how do you feel about it? What do you say to all those nice voters that chose to give you such a lovely uniform?”

“Yeah, that’s like, such a cute outfit! Like, I wish I could be on this team to have the same!” Chrissi added.

“For that to happen, I’m afraid you’d need to manage to get accepted to a high school, Chrissi... So, darling, how do you like your makeover?”

“Great, absolutely fantastic. I’m sure that won’t be embarrassing in front of students. Though I guess they could have picked far worse options, so I’m not complaining too much.” As annoyed as she was, voicing her discontent didn’t seem like the smart thing to do. Elle didn’t want to get on the crowd’s bad side when they still held her fate between their hands.

“Oh, don’t worry your pretty little head about class, sweetie! This change comes with far more interesting perks than a miniskirt. Why don’t you give us a demonstration?”

As Jack snapped his finger, the screen switched to a video of a few cheerleaders performing a routine. As soon as she heard the music, Elle felt her body start to move against her will, catching the pom-poms Chrissi had just thrown her way. As if in a trance, she started to dance and twirl perfectly on rhythm. The choreography felt natural to her, muscle memory overcoming her mind’s attempts to stop. With a **** smile, she jumped and raised her legs, showing a glimpse of her underwear to the crowd, eliciting laughs and whistles from most of the spectators while her mind screamed in embarrassment.

The video stopped as quickly as it had started, while Jack and the audience were applauding.

“Seems like you’re a natural! I’m sure your students will love seeing their teacher cheering them up and shaking her rump before their matches.”

“Please, just give me case 14. I want it to end.”

“Come on, cheer up, dear! It’s just a game, after all… But you heard her, Chrissi. Open case 14!”

Chrissi lifted the case’s lid, taking out a card with a stick-figure.

“Well, well, well. Three in a row! That’s quite impressive now. And it seems we’re getting to the body type. Let’s see what the game has in store for you now, shall we?”

As Elle’s mind filled with prayers for a soft change, the board began to display the various options:

In the eye of the beholder: Elle’s body will conform to what others would want her to look like. People will be a lot more likely to make remarks about Elle’s appearance, and her body will change accordingly for 48h. But be careful: should a remark be said enough times, it will become permanent.

Elle-sensei: Elle’s ethnicity will change, leaving her Japanese.

Maternity leave: Elle’s body will become more matronly, with large hips, milky breasts and a somewhat swollen belly. She will also see her fertility increase drastically. (inspired by an option in AliC’s branch)

Nerdleader: In contrast with her clothes, Elle will get the body of a true nerd. Short, scrawny, pale, complete with glasses, braces and a stutter. True to the archetype, this change will be accompanied by a severe confidence drop.

Mommy long-legs: Elle will grow several inches, as her legs get longer and firmer. Elle will also get a more pin-upesque look with a wasp-waist and a heart-shaped ass.
