Check the Time

After reading the description, Dean checked the time, saying, "Tempus," and saw he was already a couple of minutes late.

"Shite, I'm definitely going to be late," Dean mumbled, before having a thought.

He could test if the Normalization book was real, or if it was all just made up. Taking out a quill from his school bag, Dean quickly scrawled a sentence onto the book, with the format that Norm talked about in the summary.

It is normal to not punish Dean Thomas for being late to class.

Shrugging his shoulders, Dean figured that was the best he could do right now and if the book wasn't real then he would just take whatever punishment McGonagall came up with.

Putting the book in his school bag, he made his way back through the supposed short cut and jogged the normal way to the class.
