As soon as Ethan pulls his phone out he notices a waiting message.

For Heather.

Opening it, he's greeted by a wall of text, something which, historically, is a bad sign.

H: Hey. I've been doing some thinking. I know weve been dancing around the issue but i think we need to get a good lay of the land and figure out where we stand. If its over between us, its over. I know weve been kind of edging towards getting back together, but i don't wannt edge. I wanna just know. If its cool with you i want to talk about this all in person. Ive got some time off work starting this weekend and i was thinking i could drive up and we could hash this out in person. I want to see you either way. Plus i want to see this house of yours! If that sounds good to you text me the address. I'll leave friday and i should be there later in the evening. Let me know asap so I can pack a bag.

H: If I dont hear from you, its cool.

Ethan stares at that message. Thinking.

Heather. Here. Just in time for the fair.

The possibilities are endless. Doors will open. Others may close.
