Where to go first?
The middle door on your right
This room contains a large desk facing the door, with a comfortable-looking executive chair behind it. There is a control interface for a computer - no keyboard or mouse but a pair of pads you can rest your hands on to control it with various movements. You recall Phil telling you a little about these earlier in the day but right now they look a bit alien to you. There’s no visible monitor or screen; you understand this will appear to you when you’re using the computer in the same way your wrist-screen appears, only to you, when you need it to.
On your side of the desk are a couple of chairs facing the desk, and a sofa and coffee table occupy the space immediately to your right. The floor is carpeted with a fairly boring-looking but comfortably springy beige carpet, the smooth walls painted a plain pale grey, the monotony broken by a selection of pictures. Along the side walls, these are fairly standard sized images, all depicting buxom women in various states of undress. The wall behind the desk, however, is almost entirely taken up by a large picture of Fairbourne beach. There’s lots going on in the picture; plenty of flesh on display of course, plus a few groups of people enjoying various sorts of fun times. You make a mental note to have a closer study of this picture later on.
