Check out the corridor

Leanne decided to explore her surroundings a bit more. Maybe getting more comfortable in Rosefield Manor would help her relax. Not being in control of herself was certainly having an affect on the young woman's mental state.

As she wandered down the hallway she began hearing a strange noise. It was faint at first, but once she noticed it the sound became more perceptible. A kind of metallic clanking noise. A creaking. Almost a cry. It could have just been the old heating system struggling to activate. The pipes working hard as they came to life.

Whatever it was, Leanne was interrupted by another sound as a bell was heard. Turning to her left she saw the lift doors slide open. Peering inside she saw it was empty.

"That's weird," she observed aloud.

The young woman glanced around her but the corridor was as empty as the lift. She wondered if she should enter. It was a little convenient that the doors opened just as she passed it and more than a little worrying.
