Check on the living

The hobo ghost said that you simply had to think about somewhere to travel there so you think about your parents…

… you are standing by your parents as they watch television. Obviously no one has informed them of your **** yet. You then think about your little sister…

… and you are in her room as she talks on the phone to her friend wearing little more than a t-shirt and underpants. You wonder how your date is doing …

… and find yourself in an operating room. Your date is on the table being worked on by a surgeon. You wonder how they are doing and, since the hobo ghost said you could enter dreams you decide to try it…

… and find nothing but a black void…

…. you awake with a start and sit up ‘gasping for air’ (although that makes no sense).

You decide to wait a little before trying that again and decide to explore the hospital.

You float up through the ceiling and find yourself in a hall. You can see people and ghosts milling around. The living have an aura that you seem to be able to read in order to determine their emotional state. Some nurses are bored, some are sad, some are happy. Patient’s emotions are all over the place from pain to depression to anger to joy to everything else. The dead, on the other hand, have no aura of their own although you watch as one man in a hospital gown reaches out and draws off some of a happy nurse's aura. To your surprise the living nurse looses none of her happy glow while the ghost begins to give off a pale version of it and seems happier than before.

You wonder whether you should stay here or find somewhere else to pass the time.
