It's been drilled into the wall. Like, completely jackhammer motorized steel spikes straight into the rock solid granite of the Delta Delta sorority house's interior superstructure. You could get an elephant to pull on the stakes mounting the hammock, and the hammock would likely still hold.

Most hammocks are just thrown up, slung over branches or lazily roped around crappy synthetic pegs. But Lati has mounted this thing like she wants it to hang forever. It's not out of bounds to think that this thing is meant to endure serious human pressure and... more than just a lackluster hanging out...
