A few minutes after we finish eating, Luna and Innu walk out of the bedroom.

"Good morning girls." I say greeting them.

"Morning." Innu replies groggily and holding back a yawn.

"Here you two, eat up." Asami says while placing two plates down.

"Thank you." Luna says before sitting down. Innu nods before sitting and they start eating.

"What time is it?" Innu asks after a few bites.

"It's about eight-thirty. We have two hours before we need to be at the Guildhall." Asami replies. Suddenly the door to the bedroom shoots open. Flare runs out and runs upstairs.

"Mornin'!" Flare says happily as she runs up the stairs.

"Sorry about her." Lilac says, closing the door to the bedroom. "Ramia's test with Eric's blood and a Blue Lotus Flower will have finished. She's just excited." Lilac says while walking over to us.

"It's fine, we're used to it. Oh, would you or Flare like any breakfast?" Asami asks while getting up.

"Thank you, but we don't eat. Our bodies run on mana instead of nutrients from food like yours. That said, we do have a sense of taste. It's meant to be used for examining ingredients. We can tell by tasting them if they've rotted or changed at all. We can then dispose of them by eating them. Our bodies would use mana to destroy the substance we ate, so we can technically eat I guess." Lilac explains. Flare runs back down while holding a notepad. She runs up to us and stops in front of Lilac.

"Is right?" Flare asks while presenting it to Lilac. Lilac reads it over before nodding.

"Yes, although there are a few mistakes here." Lilac replies while tapping three spots on the page.

"What'd she write down?" Luna asks while Flare runs back into the bedroom.

"She wrote a report on what she observed and discovered about the flower. Ramia asked the two of us to examine it before she did. She wants to see how we do. Some experiments can take days to complete, and you have to stay awake the entire time. They could explode or need to be stirred every few minutes. She's hoping Flare and I could perform these experiments and take detailed notes for her. If you'll excuse me, I need to go write my own report." Lilac says before walking upstairs.

"She's so calm and polite." Innu says as she enters the workshop.

"Yeah, she's already developed her ego. Flare's almost there though." Verona says.

"What's an ego?" Luna asks.

"It's a person's sense of self. For creatures like Lilac and Flare, who are made through magic and have the mind of a full grown adult. The ego is one of the first things they'll develop. It's also the most risky part of their growth. If they're in a bad environment they'll develop a cruel and twisted ego, which would further develop into a cruel and twisted creature." Verona explains, confusing Luna. "Think of it this way, a person's ego is a part of their personality. Since it's the first part of the personality they'll develop, it'll greatly affect the overall personality." Verona continues, causing Luna to nod. I don't think she got it, she just doesn't want to continue this. I think with a smile. We continue talking for a few minutes. During this time, Lilac comes back downstairs but follows Flare back to the bedroom. After nearly ten minutes, Ramia walks out with Flare and Lilac.

"Good morning." Ramia says while sitting down.

"Morning Ramia, were you able to finish the potions for today?" Asami asks.

"Yes, they're in the box upstairs." Lilac replies while Ramia starts to eat.

"What potions?" I ask Asami.

"It's a secret." Asami replies teasingly. "Now Master, I need you to go shower. I need to get the potions ready." She continues while pulling me up. I sigh and nod before leaving to my apartment I start the shower and check my notifications.

New Skill: Summon Forest Lvl 1 (Max)

This Skill allows you to summon the forest created by your Corrupted Forest Core. You can only use this Skill while holding the Corrupted Forest Kings Scythe. The forest will grow from the ground in a circle twenty-five feet wide, centered around you. You will be able to manipulate the vines and order the Guardians. They cannot go further than fifteen feet from the forest. While in the forest the King's Scythe will deal more damage, due to the close proximity to its source of power. If the forest is damaged or destroyed, the King's Scythe will deal less damage. This Skill requires no mana from the caster. It takes the mana from the forest, weakening the Scythe. This Skill has a 24-hour cooldown.

Oh yeah, I didn't check my notifications yesterday. I think while I finish showering. Once I'm done I return to my Domain. I find Luna and Innu walking outside. They pull me out and we start sparring for a while. Once Asami returns forty minutes later, she tries to stop us. I step back as she uses her Greater Twin-Tailed Wolf Soul to try and **** Luna and Innu to stop. Instead, they use her wolf to spar with for twenty more minutes. At that point, the two stop sparring to get ready. I laugh seeing Asamis's shocked expression as they leave. She turns and glares at me causing me to stop, but I struggle not to continue.

"Don't look at me like that. They're good, they know when to stop and get ready." I say defensively.
