"Have you met these women yet, Iris?" Julie asked Jonathan's mother after turning off her microphone.

"No, this will be my first time seeing them," Iris replied. "Have you met them, Jon?"

"Yes, I met them briefly after the candidate review committee made their selections," Jonathan answered.

"You will spend two years with them! Living together before even dating!" Iris sighed.

"Mom, they're all professionals and we're doing an important scientific experiment, not a reality TV show," Jonathan answered calmly and glanced over to Julie. "No offense."

"None taken!" Julie smiled.

"We're going live in five... four... three..." a stagehand counted down, giving Julie ample time to turn back on her microphone.

"Welcome back to our interview with Jonathan Lee -- Navy SEAL, ER doctor, astronaut, and eligible bachelor!" Julie smiled to the clapping of the studio audience. "Now let's meet the rest of the crew of the Priapus Program!"
