Chapter 7: Elf Maiden

Jess led me through the forest. I felt pretty fucking confident, what with my magic dagger strapped onto my hip, and the bow and poison arrows over my back. Not only that, I was a Lvl 2 now. Jess touched my arm as we approached a little river. She tilted her head.

“Do you hear that?” she asked. I shook my head.

“C’mon.” she said, and turned, walking downstream along the river. I followed curiously. My eyes widened when Jess started sprinting. I raced after her, the chain mail over my torso clinking as I followed the half-elf girl. We rushed into a clearing where an absolutely impossibly sexy elf girl was cowering behind a tree as a monstrous wolf with dark blue fur stalked towards her.

“That’s a familiar!” Jess told me in shock.

“A what?” I had time to ask, before Jess threw herself at the wolf. I drew my sword and charged. Jess rolled lightly backwards and I slashed at the wolf. To my shock, my blade shattered on impact.

“Tlah!” a voice yelled. The wolf stopped instantly, and I turned. An elderly man with dark shadows beneath his eyes stood there.

“Who the fuck are you?” I asked.

“I am of no import. Sebastian, your life is in danger, and you must be cautious.” the woman said, and then vanished in a puff of navy smoke. The elf girl ran towards me and threw herself into my arms, sobbing. Jess and I exchanged bewildered looks.

“Thank you so much! I thought I was going to die!” the girl sobbed. She couldn’t be more than 18, but she had a magnificent rack which made Jess’ look tiny and gorgeous curves. She looked like she came from a hentai, not the real world. She wore a tightly corseted, shredded green satin dress and a silvery tiara.

“Uh, sure. Happy to help. Who, uh, who are you?” I asked. The elf girl leaned back, turquoise eyes shining.

“I’m Princess Faylen Dajeon of the Elves.” the girl said, wiping away some of her tears. I touched her arm, and gave her a reassuring smile.

“Hey. You’re from the elvish village near here, right?” I asked. She shook her head.

“No. I’m from the First Realm.” the elf princess shook her head.

“Ok. Can I call you Fay?” I asked.

“Fay. I like it.” she smiled.

“If you’re from the First Realm, why are you wandering a forest in the Fourth Realm?” Jess asked.

“My father was on a diplomatic mission to the king of the Fourth Realm. I fell off of his caravan and tumbled down a ravine. I don’t know how I survived, but I found that weird old man down there. He sent his wolf after me, and it chased me into the forest. I hurt my leg and fell.” Fay told us and showed the wound in her leg. Jess sighed.

“Alright, can we drop you at the village?” Jess asked.

“We could at least get her back to her father.” I protested. Fay threw me a glittering smile. Jess rolled her eyes.

“You can go. I’ll be moving on soon, anyways.” Jess said tensely. Fay touched my arm.

“I’d love some new clothes, before we set off on a quest across the realm.” Fay said.

“We’ll grab you something from the village.” I told her. She nodded. Jess grabbed the map again, and after a quick moment we set off.

———

The elves at the gate were twins, tall, slender and pale. One boy, one girl. Both were inhumanly attractive.

“Who are you?” the male twin asked.

>Quest Completed!

Jess stepped forwards.

“I am Jessiriani Liaklyn, a half-elf cleric seeking shelter. This is my close friend, Sebastian, a human blade mage.” Jess introduced us.

“Who’s the girl?” the female twin asked.

“Princess Faylen Dajeon.” Fay smiled. The twins went wide-eyed.

“Did you kidnap her?” the male demanded.

“No!” I raised my hands, “No, we saved her from a monster in the woods.”

“It’s true.” Fay agreed. The twins waved us inside. A man who looked only a few years older than Jess but seemed eons older approached us. He had the kind of pale blond hair and cold expressions that seemed like a stereotypical elf.

“I am Chief Haemir. What do you seek from this sanctuary?” he asked.

“Some clothes for the princess, and a new sword.” I said. The elf chief nodded.

“It will be granted. What manner of garb does the princess require?” Haemir asked.

“Something good for traveling.” I shrugged. He nodded. The male twin sprinted off. Haemir turned to Jess.

“Jessiriani Liaklyn. What do you seek?” Haemir asked curiously.

“I seek the knowledge contained here. I am not leaving with Sebastian and Fay.” Jess said. Haemir nodded.

“You have elvish blood. You may stay.” Haemir allowed. The male twin returned with a bundle of clothes for Fay, and an elven sword for me. I took the sword.

“Thanks.” I said. He nodded. The female twin led Fay away to change, and I crossed my arms and waited semi-impatiently. Fay returned quickly, in an olive green shirt and thick hide pants, both items of which clung to her curves and assets attractively.

“Do you the two of you need an escort?” Haemir asked. I shook my head.

“No, I can handle keeping Fay safe. I just need a map to where her father is.” I said.

The female twin handed me the map. I nodded my thanks. Fay’s soft hand slid into mine. I exchanged smiles with the elf princess. Haemir chuckled.

“Young love.” he said. Fay blushed and dropped my hand.

Holy fuck, I did it again! What are these things?

Sebastian and Fay hike to the capital of the Fourth Realm
