Chapter 2 - The Rendezvous

Lexi pulled up inside a large parking lot. "This is the place, then.", she said. "So, this mysterious intruder wanted to meet you inside a mall?"

Eva simply nodded, her mind buzzing with questions. Why did the stranger want to meet her here? What could they possibly want from her?

"We have a problem, though.", said Dave. "It's 11:30, and this place closed down at 9."

"The exact coordinate is an ice cream stand inside. I think we're expected to break inside.", replied Eva. She turned to Dave. "I trust the mall security won't be an issue for you?"

Dave smirked, his fingers already typing on his laptop. "I'm already in the network. By the time you cross the parking, I'll have the entire system in the palm of my hand."

"It's settled, then. Eva and I will go in, and Dave will stay back and coordinate the mission. Let's go, team.", said Lexi, opening the door and exiting the vehicle.

Eva followed her outside, slightly annoyed at Lexi for trying to take charge. This wasn't an official mission, and she was the one who the note was for. She didn't like how Lexi tried to always compete with her.

The cold wind in the parking lot made her shiver, and reminded her that her catsuit was the only thing she was wearing. In the few minutes it took for her and Lexi to get to the door, she was already starting to shiver.

"Door's unlocked.", said Dave in both their ear.

"I'll go in via the front.", said Lexi. "Eva, you have your new suit. Do you want to try the roof?"
