Sebastian, Lily, and Fay encounter a band of savages intent on the two girls

Chapter 18: The Savages

Things went wrong when I had to piss. Weird, but true. I went off into the woods to get a little relief, though after meeting that perverted dryad back at Ironford, I kept giving the trees side-eyes. When I returned to the camp, I found Fay and Lily gone, and the small camp had been ransacked, our supplies were strewn everywhere, and the place reeked of goblins and... something else.

I took a moment to wonder what kind of creature could drag a centaur away, and set off into the forest, following the gouges in the dirt which I presumed **** Lily had made. As I crept along, I checked out my gear.

I had a nice elven sword, with a very sharp edge. I had the wooden shield I’d spawned with, as well as a stick wand that could cast mildly strong fire spells. I had the clothes from Doctor Ashwood, and the chain mail that Jess had given me before we’d left to find the elvish village. Over my back was a quiver of poisoned arrows I’d gotten from that crypt, along with the bow from the crypt. Unfortunately, Fay still had Eclipse, my dagger.

Not bad loot, but I had zero idea what I was walking into, unfortunately. I wasn’t expecting to crest a hill and see a savage camp. I laid down flat on the hill, and peered at the camp. I saw Fay and Lily’s **** bodies tossed into a cage by an ogre, easily twice the height of Lily. It had on thick armor made from wood, and I considered the merits of burning it. Lots of goblins slunk around the camp, as well as some dwarvish men in loincloths, toting around maces.

Along with the two cages holding my companions, I saw two other cages. There were a lot of things to fight. I glanced down at my ring. With my new jewels, I could go unnoticeable and stroll right into their camp. Was the spell strong enough I could stab them one by one without them noticing, or would I be caught and killed immediately.

I decided to hopefully take out the ogre from range, so I mumbled ‘Ignite’ and focused on the huge ogre’s wooden armor, and found to my delight it started burning quickly. The ogre grunted and shouted, and stomped around the place, terrorizing the goblins and dwarves. I touched the milky white jewel on my ring and headed down to the cages, sneaking around the back. My companions were still out cold. I walked past them to the other two cages, and found one of them occupied by two people, a girl of probably 18, huddled with a boy of probably 10. The final cage held a orc woman, who was naked. Her bare back was facing me, and her black hair streamed down it, and I stared for a beat at her smooth green skin.

She was in an almost meditating position, and I headed back to the cage with the two people inside it, and hefted my elvish sword, and cut a gouge in metal fairly quietly. Sheathing the sword, I tried to pull apart the two thin metal mesh pieces and they bent a little bit. Nobody reacted, so I presumed this whole unnoticeability thing was going well. I touched the white jewel again after looking around to make sure I was clear.

“Hey!” I whispered. The girl turned, and I saw a deep scar on her face. She had the boy’s head cradled into her side, and she looked petrified.

“This is a rescue. C’mon.” I hissed, and the two scooted closer. The girl helped the boy through the gash, and then I offered her a hand and helped her through.

“What now?” the girl whispered.

“Um... run into that forest. Look for the tallest tree and wait at the bottom of it. I’ll meet you there.” I told the girl, and she took the boy’s hand and the pair hurried off into the forest. I touched the white jewel again and cut open the orc woman’s cell. I pulled the metal mesh apart more than the other cell, and then tapped the white jewel.

“Hey.” I whispered. The orc woman turned. She was startlingly beautiful, a woman probably in her late twenties, naked as the day she was born. She sported magnificent green tits and shapely curves, along with a fit, toned body she could only have gotten from working out.

“The siblings in the next cell. Are they free?” the orc woman asked. I nodded, and then the orc woman moved, and I offered a hand to help her through the gash, but she refused my help and squeezed through.

“Where are they?” she demanded quietly. I pointed towards the forest.

“The base of the tallest tree.” I said. The orc woman nodded and ran into the forest after the siblings. I turned the white jewel back on and crept back towards Fay and Lily’s cages. I cut open the backs of both and pulled them apart, and had to cut a second gash in Lily’s, and a big piece out to allow the centaur to fit. Of course, neither girl was awake.

“Lily.” I hissed after disabling the ring. She didn’t stir. Sighing, I climbed through the sizable hole and knelt at her side. I shook her arm a bit, and she began to stir.

“Sebastian?” she mumbled. I pressed a finger to her lips.

“Shh.” I said. With some guiding, the dazed centaur girl made it out of the cell, and I carried Fay’s **** form out and draped her across Lily’s back.

“Where to?” Lily asked.

“Look for the tallest tree in that forest, and take us to the base of it.” I instructed. She nodded and took off into the forest. As we did, I glanced over my shoulder to see the savages tearing into the corpse of the ogre and hurriedly looked away.

Sebastian, Fay, and Lily meet the prisoners.
