Chapter 17 what we're doing today ?

(Marion POV)

Marion was still lying on the floor. Frankly, she'd never been in so much pain in her life. The pain had been terrible, but the worst thing was that Nezoko hadn't lied - it was like watching a movie.

But here the film lasted the equivalent of over a year, non-stop, and she couldn't even blink or lose concentration. Watching the film had been almost instantaneous - the pain only came afterwards, when her brain was no longer boosted by the fucking magic that had made the viewing possible.

Marion honestly didn't know how she'd realized she had to bite Karine, but she was glad she had. She'd been able to think again, and with the pain gone, all that remained was the film, which had honestly taken up a large part of her recent memory.

The film began with William's birth and ended with his recent hospitalization. Clearly, cinematically, it sucked to **** a good hundred times over, and Marion was convinced that saying that was already generous.

No one can imagine how boring everyday life can be. There were obviously moments that were more interesting than others, but overall it was awfully long and repetitive. Anyway, she had obtained some very interesting information about William, but also about Anna.

They both had an interesting history, but she'd have to be careful how she used it. If she understood anything about Anna, it was that she had a strong character. She wouldn't forgive easily if Marion went behind her back.

However, all that was of little importance: her target was not Anna, nor William, nor any of the other idiots present. No, she was aiming at those responsible for her presence here.

_"I'll tell you about today's program, but let's start with the most important thing. Tonight, Anna will sleep with the Master," _said Nezoko.

So it was Anna who would be sleeping with William, just like in the good old days. It felt strange to put it like that, knowing that she hadn't been there, but she'd been there and seen them sleeping in the same bed many times.

They weren't romantically involved, that was almost certain. So obviously they weren't going to sleep together. That would give him time to try and charm William.

Why charm the Master, you ask? Simple, because that's what Nezoko wanted. Nezoko is her enemy, but Marion has to admit she's stronger than she is at the moment. So we have to get into her good graces, pretend to cooperate and strike when the opportunity presents itself. Simple.

"Then, as for the rest of the day, I told you about optional tests. I'll tell you about the first of them, but first let's welcome an exceptional guest. Matamune." says Nezoko.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a cat jumped into Nezoko's arms and she smiled for the first time since the show began.

"A cat?" Nicole couldn't help saying.

"No, not a cat, but the producer's cat, the great Matamune. I'm not asking you to understand his greatness and infinite superiority, it's all beyond a baboon like you," said Nezoko.

The producer's cat was interesting.

"Thank you, Matamune, your presence is a precious help in supporting his macaques" said Nezoko, releasing Matamune, who disappeared into the rest of Konoha in a matter of seconds. Seeing that the cat had left their field of vision, the host continued.

"At the moment, you're just beginners, Genins without a single mission under your belt. Your first mission is to bring Matamune back to me so I can continue cuddling him," said Nezoko.

A cat? Their test was to chase a cat?

_"Okay, but what's in it for us?" _asked Anna, who, like everyone else present, didn't see the point in chasing a cat.

"So first of all you'll earn BP if you bring Matamune back to me. BP can be used to buy different items or transformations in the show's stores. I imagine you'll want to change your outfit at some point. If not, on top of that there's a special reward for this event," said the hostess.

"A special reward?" repeated William stupidly.

"Yes, for completing her first mission, the winner will gain the ability to walk on walls and water like any true ninja," said Nezoko.

The ability to walk on walls and water? But what was the point? Couldn't she just give them a few million dollars?

"Too cool. Being able to walk on walls is great!" said Iris.

Marion wasn't surprised by Iris's answer, but rather by the fact that Iris still hadn't asked a question.

"I'm glad you like it. I'd like to remind you that this is an optional event. You can opt out if you wish. There will be other tests. After that, few will be as easy," said the hostess.

Marion began to weigh up the pros and cons. Should she take part and catch this cat? No. She had a much better idea in mind. Hadn't Nezoko said it was the producer's cat?

"Okay, I see. Can William join in?" asked Anna, who always remained calm.

"Excellent question. I'm inclined to say why not. I see no reason why not. Good luck to you all!" said the hostess before disappearing, preventing people from asking further questions.

"Well, I guess we're free to do what we want for now. What do you want to do?" asked Charlotte.

_"We have several options at our disposal. We can go after this cat. This can be more or less rewarding. The downside is that it's a rather individual activity. Those who haven't finished reading or viewing the week's theme can return to the library. And finally, we can explore the village," _Anna explained, once again monopolizing the floor.

The girls began to look at each other. They weren't sure what to do.

"Are we really going to play her games?" asked Nicole.

"It's not like it's a big deal to chase a cat," Elisa remarked.

"Yes, but that's how it's going to start, then she'll ask us to iron William's underpants and clean his cock, and in the end we'll be nothing more than slaves," said Nicole.

The assembly split into two groups on hearing this sentence.

"Don't forget there's a reward," said Iris, who seemed most interested in the idea of walking on walls.

"And Mr Hamon, what do you think we should do?" asked Hélène.

That girl was really pathetic. She was incapable of making decisions on her own. She really deserved to be a sex **** if she couldn't choose to be free.

"I don't have to make this decision for you. I don't know what the right choice is. But if it makes you feel any better, even slightly, I don't want you to become mindless sex slaves," William replied.

And he was still playing the knight in shining armor. It was ridiculous, especially now that Marion knew he'd never had the courage to ask a girl out. The only two romantic relationships he'd ever had were with the girl who'd made the first move.

"What if we put this choice to a vote?" proposed Charlotte.

"No, that would just be absurd and create unnecessary tension. Let everyone do what they want. If you want to announce what you're going to do, that would be even better," said Anna.

_"What about you?" _asked Elisa.

"I was going to ask Iris to have a chat with her face to face. Iris, are you interested in an interview?" asked Anna.

Marion didn't even bother to listen to Iris's answer. The answer was obvious.
