Chapter 13 —

The night was as still as water. The sanitation worker dormitory was as quiet as ever, except for one room where the light was still on.

The association used high-quality materials when building the dormitories; even with only a wall separating them, no sound could be heard from the next room. This was no exaggeration—otherwise, the sanitation worker living next to Lin Jiangxing would likely have been awakened long ago by the chilling noises coming from next door.

"Squeak, gurgle...smack!"

Inside the bedroom, Lin Jiangxing's corpse lay on the floor, intermittent, sticky wriggling sounds emanating from his body, as if some unknown creature was moving within him.

After an unknown amount of time, accompanied by a crisp sound, a long, thin gash was ripped open in Lin Jiangxing's back, and his entire body deflated as if suffocating.

Then, a little girl with silver hair and golden eyes suddenly peeked out from the crack. She blinked blankly for a moment, then pushed herself out, her petite body covered in an unknown slime.

She slumped to the ground, the slime dripping from her long silver hair and splashing a few drops on the floor. The dormitory light shone on her, illuminating her youthful yet alluring face—

Golden pupils shimmered like dazzling gold; bright red eyeshadow outlined like bloodstains; her skin was as white as jade; silver scales glittered all over her body, but quickly became transparent and disappeared, leaving only soft, delicate human skin.

…All these changes were not accidental, but inevitable under certain circumstances—in fact, only a tenth of Lin Jiangxing's shattered soul remained.

Because Lin Jiangxing's instructions were too vague, and because his soul had already shattered when he began to execute them—the Heavenly Writing Brush only ensured that his soul fragments would be dominant during the fusion process, ignoring the effects on those fragments when absorbing Yin Li's essence.

Thus, after absorbing a large amount of essence that didn't belong to him, some of the remaining soul fragments of Lin Jiangxing were in turn tainted by Yin Li's essence—only his personality and a small portion of his memories were preserved intact…

"Uh… the memories in my head are all mixed up like mush… Who am I again…?" Yin Li (?) rubbed his slightly throbbing head, his long silver hair cascading over his shoulders like a waterfall, the slime on his body gradually drying.

"I am... Yin Li? No, that's not right... I am Lin Jiangxing? No, that's not right either..."

She murmured to herself, her mind a jumbled mess of memories: mostly Yin Li's arrogance and crimes, but most profoundly, Lin Jiangxing's hatred for "himself" and his accomplices among the dragons and humans.

The complex and conflicting memories intertwined, making it difficult for her to discern the truth.

"Countless memories flood my mind, telling me that I am Yin Li, the princess of the Dragon Clan—that's true—but I also feel an overwhelming disgust for my past self's actions, that's also true..."

However, she quickly recognized her true identity based on her own likes and dislikes, and completely severed ties with her past self:

"Okay, now I truly believe I'm human. Let whoever wants to be a dragon princess be! I am Yin Li, a human with dragon powers. I do what I like, and I kill whoever I hate! I don't want to waste time on pointless philosophical questions like 'Who am I?'"

Yin Li patted her cheeks, got up from the ground, and looked down at her new body, her eyes filled with novelty and curiosity—a petite and delicate figure, about 1.45 meters tall, with slightly protruding breasts, slender legs, and smooth skin—everything seemed just right.

“Wow, this body…it’s so petite! Before, whether as a human male or that big, clumsy dragon Yinli, I’ve never experienced what it’s like to be a girl. Hehe, now the opportunity has come, I have to properly ‘explore’ it!”

As she spoke, a strange excitement and curiosity welled up within her—perhaps it was due to the inherently lustful nature of dragons; dragons are naturally sensitive to physical pleasure, and even though this body was human, this instinct etched in her memory still filled her with a “desire to explore” her new body.

Yinli first reached out and gently stroked her face, her fingertips gliding over her soft skin, a tingling sensation spreading through her.

She giggled, then moved her hands downwards, covering her small breasts and gently kneading them. Her nipples quickly hardened between her fingers, and a warm current gradually rose from her lower abdomen, causing her to involuntarily tighten her legs.

"Mmm...so sensitive!"

She bit her lower lip, continuing downwards, her fingers gliding over her flat stomach to her private parts—slightly moist from the previous caresses. Curious, she inserted a finger, gently stirring it, and a jolt of pleasure shot through her body.

"Ah...so this is what a human woman's body feels like! No wonder humans have developed so many toys and made so many pornographic films..."

She panted, quickening her movements, her other hand pinching her nipple, her body arching slightly. Fragments of memories of "Princess Yin Li of the Dragon Clan" flashed through her mind—those wild scenes of dragon mating, now replayed from a woman's perspective, making her blush and her heart race, yet she couldn't resist.

After fiddling around for a moment, she seemed to suddenly remember something, reluctantly stopping her movements. She took a deep breath and muttered to herself, "Enough, enough. I can't just keep playing around. I need to try and get used to the abilities of this body first. There are more important things to do later!"

The hatred in her heart took over at this moment. Yin Li closed her eyes and mobilized the dragon's essence within her. Instantly, a surge of powerful energy erupted, enveloping her entire body—

Silver, curved dragon horns sprouted from her forehead; a pair of silver wings slowly grew and unfolded on her back; a tail extended from her rump, swaying gracefully; her eyes transformed into sharp, vertical pupils, gleaming with golden light.

"...Dragon-human form? I seem to be able to switch between human and dragon-human forms at will!"

She excitedly flapped her wings, switching forms several times. After confirming that her abilities were correct, she tried using gravity manipulation and recharging the Heaven-Summoning Brush, which had consumed nearly a third of its energy, with her own dragon blood—and, naturally, all of it worked.

Immediately afterward, she casually exhaled a breath of dragon breath, enveloping her arm—the scorching breath licked her skin, but protected by her invisible dragon scales, she felt no heat whatsoever. In fact, the gentle breeze stirred by the burning flames made her, naked as she was, feel somewhat comfortable.

Feeling the powerful energy within her body, her dragon tail swayed happily from side to side, her eyes filled with satisfaction: "Hahaha, the defensive power of these dragon scales far exceeds my expectations! And the weakness of the Molten Beast against fire seems to be gone too; this body is simply perfect!"
