Chapter 12 A New Experience

*Hello all. I've been trying to push through this block I'm having. Hopefully I get the next chapter out in less time than this one. I have a lot of ideas but I lack the focus to push them out. This chapter I feel is super rough and unrefined so bare with me.*

Seeing your info she says, “Oh you're a newbie Bren I see don't worry we can do a 1 on 1.” A wave of relief washes over you. “The stipulation is if I win I get to run a little experiment with you. If I lose I will be your whore from here to Petalburg and if you're going through the woods I'll throw that in too.”

You stare agog at her, “You're actually willing to do that?”

Treeko leaps towards Roselia aiming to bring his tail down on them.

Vines sprout from Roselia’s flowers and intercept Treeko with lighting speed. Treeko slams into the ground.

Orchid: Magical Leaf!

Before Treeko can react the attack rushes towards him and connects.

You: Do your best buddy now get up and pound the ground in front of you.

Trusting you have a plan Treeko pounds the ground in front of him kicking up a cloud of dust around him.

You: Quick attack now

Surprised by your unorthodox move Roselia and Orchid are unprepared for the incoming attack. Treeko rushes forward with all his remaining strength and attacks Roselia. The hit lands and she surely felt it.

Shaking off her surprise…

Orchid: End this petal blizzard.

Beautiful rose petals fill the air and surround Treeko hitting him from all sides. He winces and falls to the ground……

Orchid: Good, no need to keep going. I'd expect nothing less from Norms son. You certainly care for your partner. She smiles.

Treeko is not **** but he is exhausted. You pick him up and hold him close. “You okay buddy?”

Treeko does his best to nod but you can tell he needs treatment.

“Don't worry I have just the thing for this” Orchid begins removing vials from her bag and feeding them to Treeko. You see him regain some of his strength but he will need some rest after that.

“Nature provides a great many thing to heal us and Pokémon. Here little fella eat this oran berry combined with my tonics you should be right as rain after a nap in your ball.”

“So are you some kind of druid?” You ask her.

“I certainly like to think I am haha.” Orchid giggles. “I run a plant nursery and flower shop on the other side of the woods. I'm not a league trainer but I do travel to collect ingredients for my home made potions and experiments. I'm gonna be much stronger than pretty much anyone around here. Typically I wouldn't have even accepted your challenge on the grounds of it being unfair…..but I would like to test something and you certainly are cute enough.”

“Oh the bet I completely forgot” you say.

Orchid looks down at Treeko who is now munching on a berry. “We will worry about that in a minute, let's make sure your partner is okay.”

“Also how did you know Norm was my dad?”

“Your trainer info. I recognized your family name.”

“Oh duh I forgot when we sync you have the option to do that.” You let out a sigh.

Your attention turns to your buddy who seems to be sleepily finishing his berry. He stretches out his arms and he looks ready for a nap.

“You want to go into your ball?” he extends his hand in a come here motion right before he yawns.

You chuckle at how cute he can be and allow him to return to his ball.

“You two have already formed a strong bond I see that's good.”

“Now get out your pokedex for recording and set up it's time for my reward”

“Reward I thought this was an experiment?” you say confused.

“Well I would like to think it's both” She replies with a sultry smile…….
