Chapter 1: Sera

A fine Saturday morning, in an apartment bedroom a young man slept soundly when he was forced awake by the sound of his phone ringing.

*ring ring* *ring ring*

*ring ring* *ring ring*

Jason *sighed* as he woke up squeezing his eyes.

"Why did I leave the phone in the living room" Jason said as he groggily made his way to the living room.

As he picked up the phone to see who it was that called him at that hour, he saw - [Caller ID: Trouble]

"ugh, it's Sera. what does she want at this hour" Jason shrugged as he attended the call "Hey, umm.. Sara. What's up?" Jason questioned in an exhausted voice as he yawned.

"Hey, ugh... Jason... agh... could you come by my place. I need your help with something" Sera asked with a groaning voice as if she was trying to talk through pain.

"hey... Sera why do you sound off, is everything alright?" Jason asked growing concerned.

"Yeah, yeah everything's fine, could you... ugh... hoof... come to my apartment right now" Sera replied and hung up the call immediately. Jason grew increasingly concerned for Sera as her voice did not sound steady, he quickly threw on a shirt and a pant and drove his car to Sera's house.
