Change Himself

Thinking deeply, Alex’s thoughts drifted to himself.

He was an average guy. Average height, average face. Short black hair and boring brown eyes, lightly tanned skin covering him. He wasn’t too acne prone, but neither was his skin perfect. He wasn’t fat, but he certainly wasn’t muscular either. Just that middle zone between skinny and out of shape.

Being entirely honest, Alex didn’t really like how he looked. He was average, and he disliked that fact.

But with the help of this book, this Rulebook that could change reality, he didn’t have to be average Alex anymore. He could be something different, something better.

His pencil blazed across the paper of the Rulebook, scratching out a new Rule that would change him, make him more. Finishing the Rule, he set the pencil down and waited for the Rule to take effect.
