Challenges arise

"Nathalie, sweetie?" Katherine asked, causing her daughter to look up. "Is there something you want to talk about?"

"Nope, perfectly fine, Mom. Unless, of course, Ernie has a problem." Nathalie lied as she gave a **** smile. Inside, however, she thought, "Crap! Crap! Crap! What the hell was I thinking?! This is humiliating! Of course, Ernie will undoubtedly be more embarrassed by this than I am. And maybe then he'll let me wear what I want to wear. He'll crack in no time..."

"... None whatsoever." Ernest replied with a **** smile of his own. However, inside he thought, "Crap! Crap! Crap! What the hell was she thinking?! Even if public nudity is legal here, there's no way anyone will consider this okay. And if this gets back to The States... Oh Lord All Mighty, I'll never be able to show my face at the office again! Of course, Nathalie will undoubtedly be more embarrassed by this than I am. And maybe then she'll actually listen to me about her clothes. She'll crack in no time..."

"... Ten bucks says my Dad cracks first." Chuck whispered to Katherine in a hushed tone.

"I don't gamble, Chuck." Katherine replied to her twenty year old stepson.

"Is everyone ready to o-" The Waitress began as she arrived at the table, her question dying on her lips as she eyed Nathalie. "Oh my..."

"Terribly sorry, Ma'am." Ernest apologized. "My stepdaughter here is... trying out a new fashion statement. Isn't that right?"

"Oh, it's a statement alright!" Nathalie replied with a chuckle. "A statement that I regret making, but the goal will make it worthwhile."

"Sir, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave." The Waitress said in a soft yet stern voice. "You and your family."

"What? What for?" Ernest asked as the four turned to face The Waitress, all of them donning looks of confusion. "Nudity is legal here, isn't it?"

"Legal? Yes." The Waitress replied, "Allowed in this bar? No."

"Fine! Nathalie, go back to the room and put some clothes on! Wear whatever you want!"

"That was thankfully easier than I -"

"I am afraid it is not that simple, Sir." The Waitress said. "It is not just the bar where nudity is not allowed. We do not allow nudity of any kind in this hotel unless it's in a hotel room or they locked themselves out. You and your family have to leave the hotel."

"WHAT?!" Nathalie and Ernest shouted simultaneously. "I/She has to go outside naked! That's it! He/She wins!"

"You can't just kick us out because one of us is naked!" Katherine argued.

"Actually... She can." Chuck said, "According to Asnary law, any business that states that they don't allow nudity can kick the entire party of the naked individual out until the naked individual is once more fully dressed."

"Okay, then we'll just swing by a store and -" Katherine began, but was interrupted.

"It doesn't work like that, Ma'am." The Waitress said.

"But that's not fair!" Nathalie argued.

"For once we agree on something!" Ernest said with a nod, "How are we supposed to have her get dressed if all our belongings are in our hotel room?!"

"Well, technically there is a way..." The Waitress said, trailing off as she scratched the back of her neck.
