Cesar finds a Place to Relax from his Duties

The two weeks since returning home from Deirdre...or Pythorias, in this particular case, had been just as hectic as was dealing with any Orcs, Goblins, and Dark Elves that had gotten in the way. Aside from ensuring that Lady Tisha Bayannon was settling in nicely at the guildhouse, there was the matter of finding new homes for those refugees. Some of the maids-in-waiting that Trini & Sakura found were also settling in at the guildhouse, as well as Sashya & Valnora. Then there was the physical and extensive mental healing that Janissa needed from her sexual **** at the hands of those Orcs and Dark Elves that opposed them, and she was seeking Trini & Sakura's company, instead of him, at least for now.

That left him plenty of time to do things on his own while they healed up, and rejuvenated themselves. Most of the refugees were starting to settle into their new homes, to start rebuilding their lives. Others were reasonably struggling to adapt, but appeared to be on the right track. The extra gold that Cat & Valnora retrieved certainly helped in the cause, and whatever was left, was now being banked, if they weren't being put to certain uses.

Making sure that everything was taken care of, and everyone else in the guildhouse was fine, Cesar decided to ride into the city. As usual, Freeport was bustling with activity, with people of various races doing their respective things. There were a few places that Cesar could go to, which was his usual place of recreation, even if he didn't have Janissa by his side. First, there was a nice, quiet little tavern in the Middle District called the "Wicked Sprite". The food there was tasty, the drinks were good, and he knew a great barmaid, who served as a good companion. The second choice he had was a brothel by the docks, where he knew a few of the ladies there to share a few drinks with, or dabble in the earthly pleasures. The third and final choice was the Arena District, where he sparred with some of the female gladiators every now and then. A few good choices to make, but he knew he only had time for one.
