What's for breakfast?
Cereal and mold
James shook his head in disbelief, watching her devour moldy remnants of food. The entire quart he had of milk sat by her food, draining down her throat quickly. She stopped when she caught him staring, a touch of purple glowing across her cheeks.
He shook his head and turned his attention back to his cereal and coffee. She must have gotten curious, though, because as he spooned in another mouthful he saw her pluck a piece and stick it in her mouth. He glanced up at her, seeing a near immediate look of disgust hit her face. She scraped it off of her tongue, sheepishly looking at him as she wiped it off on the counter.
He chuckled, wiping it down and tossing the moist lump into the trash. After breakfast, he led her back into the bathroom to wait for Sally. Remembering their initial interaction the night before, he grabbed the blue card and found a picture of his sister online, holding the two up to her face side by side. She stared for a moment, before the spots along her spine and head shift blue in a wave-like motion.
"...Ok so there's more nuance here than I figured lights can do...we have got to teach you English so you can show me what these things mean.", he put the card down and, to test, showed the picture of Sally again. She flashed blue and looked at him. On a bunch, he showed the blue card, and in response her spots faded blue all at once before fading away. "Okay. Sally is blue. At least I'm confident in that..."
She's okay with it, how is Sally going to handle it?
