Allying with the Lions, the Cats act very closely with the Lions, even willingly giving up considerable border territories for shared habitation zones.

The bond is so close that Lions often come to Cat lands to build their harems, seeing them as only a step below Lionesses, with Cat immigrants having far more opportunities for ascension than humans, though that's a low bar.

As for their own country, Cats are one of the few humanised animal nations that outnumber humanity, but still wish to be cared for by their human population. However, because cats have an extra 100,000 of their own compared to their human population, the split in assignment diversity varies to cope with this population dynamic. Essentially, it's broken up into harems, with some monogamous bonds, and a few freaky polyamorous ones.

Basically, since there are not enough humans for Cats, and Cats view humans very differently, with a big part of their interactions having humans as servile and respectful of cats' moods, the Cats have guided their people so that the nicer ones enter couples, the submissive Cats get a loving and dominant owner in shared homes for multiple Cats and one dude, and the really dominant Cats get a bunch of the left-over men.

Because of the old days of Cat love, a lot of viewpoints crossed over after transforming, so humans were initially overjoyed that they got Catgirls and could understand the needs of their Cats (meanwhile, the weebs were happy there were 10 different kinds of Catgirls). Even though they were self-serving, there was enough Cat love and good kitties that humans initially accepted the change. However, with propaganda and hidden brainwashing tactics, Humans have become no better than pets and servants, and not just in spirit anymore.

• When Cats swing their claws at a human, it always draws blood, and because they're bigger now, most of the Catgirl types cut deep without trying.
• Cats will invade a man's personal space and claw him if he moves his hand towards it.

Put simply, humans in the Cat nations are a **** race; they dote on the Cats and do their best to be extra careful, and to be fair, Catgirls dig humans, but when a Cat guy wants a Catgirl, humans have to step aside unless their girl is close enough to fight off the dude, lest they get cut to pieces, leaving a lot of men heartbroken.

As for matters like reproduction, just like the Lions, Cats create pure Catgirls, though with certain genetic traits from humans that don't interfere with the animal parts of a humanised animal.
