Catching up.

"Darien!" Ashe smiles brightly at you as she pushes past Karisi and extends her arms wide, waiting to hug you.

"Ashe Ashe Ashe!" you smile at your red headed commander and grip her body in yours, holding her deep "Good to see you again!"

"I can't..." she huffs "I can't believe you're awake!" she pulls her body into yours "I'm so glad you're awake! I want you to know I did my best for the Sunriders and for the Syndicate! I've been a High Commander for such a long time but actually leading an army...Whew!"

You grip her biceps and push her back, looking into her eyes "Ashe, thank you." you smile "You're amazing and I'm sure you did a perfect job!" you look at her with a solid expression that it almost makes Lexie a bit jealous. "I hope that once I'm back to my normal self you'll be ready to step back down." you give a friendly wink.

"Well..." she hums out "Maaaybe." she playfully bits her lower lip as her eyes just look back into your own.

"Mmm, come here!" you pull her into your body once more, wrapping your arms tightly around her and holding her tight. "Nice armor by the way." you whisper into the side of her head.

"And Karisi..." you start to back away from Ashe as you turn towards the lady "I knew I could always count on you. I'm guessing by just looking at you that you took control of the Syndicate and everybody mainly greeted you with open arms?" you cast a questioning look.

"Took some convincing" she grins "It's good to have you back! I thought we lost you..." she opens her body up waiting to accept your incoming hug. With the same as Ashe you just hold Karisi tight in your body for a few moments as you're happy to see her well situated.

"So come on!" Karisi backs away as she waves all of you to come have a seat around a table towards the corner "We've got some catching up to do."

Ashe, Karisi and Lexie all shared their stories and brought you up to date on since you last remembered.

A random Syndicate warrior found you passed out and bleeding on a balcony in Rathkin. You were quickly patched up and brought into the castle and heavily guarded. After two days, Ashe, Karisi and the entire Syndicate army left to go back north to get to Sicilian, hoping that Rixx was going to stay true to his word and be on his way south at the same time.

About another day or two later once you were in a stable condition, Lexie and a handful of other Syndicate warriors left to go north as well, taking a much longer journey with frequent breaks to make sure to not put any additional stress on your **** body.

At that point, the entire Rathkin army with Rixx and Edmin were back in Rathkin and the entire Syndicate **** with Karisi was in Sicilian. Ashe ended up taking control of the Sunrider's as she was the last remaining High Commander, not including Lexie that was still there in the Syndicate. She took control, trained, organized and did her best to lead the warriors.

The entire time, Lexie did nothing but sit by your side, mixing random potions and herbal teas she learned from Lady Bree, Rathkin's best alchemist as well as Lord Edmin's wife. She took care of you day and night for the past thirty six days. She stopped her training, didn't care to fight at all and also didn't really even engage in any social activities for the Syndicate. Many people thought she was going depressed with your departure and would never recover. This part broke your heart the most as you just looked over at Lexie as she was on the verge of tears as the stories continued. You could only reach your hand over and gently caress her own.

"It was even worse because everybody that looked at you said you were in good health and your pulse felt strong." Lexie frowns "Yet you never woke up. It was so demoralizing..." she looks down at the table and you inch yourself closer to her and hold her close.

With Lexie and yourself out of duty Ashe needed another High Commander or two and with that, she trained up one of her allies, Rynlee who you remember meeting way back in the day when you first came into the Syndicate. Rynlee was very similar to Lexie in not only appearance but also personality. She stood around the same height at 5 foot 5inches, dark brown hair tied back in a pony tail and being somewhat on a flatter bust size.

"So you got me another High Commander?" you question at Ashe, smirking at her. "I'm gone for just a few days and you're already replacing my warriors!" you jest.

"Yeah, a few days..." she rolls her eyes "And not just one. I didn't know if you would come back and well..., I wasn't sure about Lexie at that point, so I not only got Rynlee but I also kept training up somebody else..." she pauses.

"Oh?" you question her "Who is this someone else? Do I know them?"

"She should be here soon..." Ashe bites her lower lip "She's only been here in the Syndicate for less than thirty six days but man does she learn and train up extremely well. Tons of talent that one is."

With that you hear another door creak open as three pairs of foot steps enter the room.
