Catch her

Screw it, you were going for it.

You quietly slipped a pokeball out of your pocket, then tossed it at May. She looked up and turned towards you as the ball was in the air, but whatever had alerted her to your presence was too late for her to have a chance of dodging.

"Wha-?!" Was all she got out before the ball opened and she was sucked inside in a flash of red light.

The ball fell to the grass, where it shook once.

Shook twice.

Shook a third time.

Clicked.

You gave a cheer. "Yes! This is gonna be great!"
