Chapter 8 by TwistingTaint
What's next?
Call May back out to talk
You pick up the pokeball, your grin practically splitting your face in two. After a moment, you pointed to pokeball forward. "May, I choose you." You snickered to yourself as the ball opened with a flash of white light.
You weren't quite sure why calling out a pokemon was a different color light than one going into a pokeball, but that thought was quickly pushed out of your mind as the light formed into a girl.
May looked around started, before her eyes focused on you and she took a nervous step back. "What did-? Did that-? But you can't-!"
"I captured you." You replied. "In a pokeball. Yes, it really happened. And the limitation is in the software, not the hardware."
May stared at you. "You- You hacked a pokeball?"
"It wasn't even hard." You answered. "Seriously, I went in looking to improve capture odds and realized I'd only need to change one line of code to make it work on humans."
"But... Pokemon break out of pokeballs by physically breaking the ball." May pointed out. "Would the programming affect that?"
You sighed. "No, it turns out my original goal was a complete failure." Your grin returned. "But I think this is even better."
She took another step back. "What- What are you going to do with me?"
What do you tell her?
