What's the story?

Cat-astrophe from a distant place

Princess Qatherine peeked around the corners, making sure no one was around in the hangers. “Coast is all clear.” She grinned to herself.

Royal princess Qatherine Velicia Cedia was to be the future Queen of planet Gatos, something she was not ready for. She wanted to see more of the universe, without her mother’s bodyguards and consorts. They would always make whoever she was talking to uncomfortable (though admittedly, it could also be the nudity of her people that made others feel awkward). For once would she like to have a normal conversation, or just a fun outing without being babysat. Which is why she wanted to “borrow” a single space pod and fly all the way to Earth.

She gleefully stepped inside the pod after entering the coordinates, when a guard walked inside. “Princess Qatherine, get out off there immediately!”

Qat simply waved at the man as her pod took off into space.

Qat landed in the morning on a grass field in Kansas. As the pod opened up, she breathed in the air, swept her tail, and started purring in pleasure. “Time for my vacation!”
