Cassia Orsellio's daughter

While riding across the galaxy, growing his forces and planning his next actions, news floated past Nimrod's desk: Cassia Orsellio had a daughter. Furthermore, they say she got **** and lost in the Warp for a few minutes, getting saved by Cassia, whose strong psychic might let her hold the ship from leaving. However, the Warp was still a tricky place and caused Cassia's daughter to grow up inside the Warp. Cassia's strong psychic powers stopped Chaos from corrupting or influencing her daughter, and the ship was inhabited by non-corrupted groups, so there wasn't much of an issue besides Cassia losing her chance to be a mother. There was no mistake. Cassia's daughter, Nova, looked exactly like her, but hotter, both in figure and face. Nova's naturally seductive figure and posture caused rumours of her desirability to fly alongside rumours of corruption or heresy. The latter was mainly among the Inquisition, but rumours still flew, as well as rumours about Nova's powers. Just like how Chaos influence was halted by Cassia, so were psychic powers, requiring Cassia to be around her daughter constantly to love and protect Nova as Cassia teaches Nova about her psychic gifts and helps her learn to control them. Given how long it takes to travel the galaxy and the fact that Nimrod's forces were still busy in T'au areas, he decided to take this fun little trip to Cassia, remembering her location from a Google search.

Heading over, Nimrod's fleets were met with a horrifyingly large Imperial ****. There was no escape, so Nimrod surrendered immediately, ordering his forces to use the on-board gates to the Warp linked to a space port using Blanks and other safety measures to resist daemons and Chaos. Nimrod surrendered immediately, leaving his other ships to be attacked as the slip-space drives allowed them to slip out of the net immediately, but not without a lot of the ships getting wrecked. Nimrod's ship was the only one not attacked, allowing him to meet Cassia as she gripped his ship with a giant psychic hand.

As Nimrod met Cassio, he took off his fedora, showing off his strange fashion that was like a 21st-century suit (imagine Raymond 'Red' Reddington). Cassio didn't care about Nimrod's blithering compliments, no matter how genuine; she was far more interested in how Nimrod found her and why his forces ran. Cassio was far too strong for Nimrod to lie, but Nimrod was far too safe to worry about his life; he literally couldn't die. Now, that's not to say Cassio couldn't **** him or call a Blank to cut out the Warp stuff, sending his soul who knows where, but in front of Cassio, he was fine.

After a bit of silence, Nimrod finally spoke, telling Cassio that he could help with Nova in her training. When Cassio asked what worth Nimrod said, he spoke honestly, telling Cassio he was both daemon and soul, not aligned to any god or tainted by the Warp, his soul made sure of that, cleansing the energy to make him an Immaterium Daemon, rather than a warp Daemon.

Nimrod was certainly an interesting specimen, but the truth of his existence was far too dangerous; why should Cassio entrust Nimrod with his daughter while she's in such a fragile state?

To that question, Nimrod answered truthfully once more, telling Cassio of his existence as a man from beyond this galaxy, from beyond this universe, where the plights of 40K are just stories and books. Now faced with them as truth, Nimrod knew what it was like to fight against the powers, and he believed he could help Nova. Moreover, the Emperor still owns his soul. Once Nimrod released the Emperor's power, letting it radiate, Cassio instantly recognised the power, bowing slightly for the Emperor's messenger, knowing far more than most what the Emperor's power felt like.

With that card played, Nimrod got an audience with Nova; Nimrod was a calm spirit, so he guru'd that shit, with a bit of I am one with nature vibe. Nimrod's soul was like a strong anchor for Nova; couple this with Cassia's immense psychic might, and the three of them were really harmonising. Even out of training, Nova and Nimrod were getting closer, though Cassia was extra territorial with her daughter, whom she had lost so much time with. Still, it was an honour to gift someone to one so blessed by his holy light, so Cassia contemplated giving Nova to Nimrod, only for Nimrod to chime in later and tell Cassia he had a solution to her motherly woes. Cassio sarcastically asked if Nimrod was gonna knock both of them up, to which Nimrod said yes, but then cleared the air, stating only if she wished. As for his actual plan, Nimrod gave Cassia a tesseract labyrinth, allowing Cassia and Nova to live an entire life in but a moment, not aging, but gaining that time she so dearly wished for. When asked how he got it, Nimrod lied, not telling Cassia he once ran the biggest Chaos cult that beat a crippled tomb world and stole its shit. Cassia then looked to Nova as she activated it, living with simulated people in an idyllic life before exiting, having spent some 70 years with Nova.

Nimrod then asked what Cassia was so busy with in this random sector. Cassia showed Nimrod a tear in reality hidden behind the folds of reality. Should Cassio and her forces fail to contain it, a shortcut from the Ghoul Star's space that is currently being overlapped by The Daemon's Maw will go straight into Segmentum Solar, in a star system close to the Sol System, housing every important piece of leadership and its icons, ie, Terra, Mars, the Emperor, the High Lords of Terra, the Navigator Houses, and everything else in the Sol System. Neither the Imperium nor Sol System is weak, but the Imperium's scattered and messy state means that any reinforcements might not come soon enough or would strain the Astra Militarum and Imperial Navy. Moreover, a new Tyranid hive fleet was discovered in the region, led by a humanoid with no Genestealer forehead, but clear Genestealer DNA. She, along with her legion of feminised Tyranids, has been dealing an extra lethal blow to the Imperium in the sector.

Hearing the description, Nimrod knew instantly that it was Calista, his heart aching but resolute as he got back to the topic at hand, contemplating how to shut the hidden tear. Cassia already tried Necron Pylons, as well as experimented with permanent deployments of Psykers and Blanks using amplification devices. However, this tear wasn't Warp-related, so none of her plans worked against it; all that was working was Cassia personally holding it shut, thanks to her coincidental discovery of the rift as it emerged, allowing her to grip it and hold it shut.

Finally making himself useful, Nimrod called up the Emperor through communion, asking how to make the Webway walls since they seemed indestructible to most attacks. But with Necron tech, so it's actually effective. The Emperor essentially does a minor fuck you to Nimrod before dropping the full schematics into his head, making Nimrod tell the Emperor to go fuck himself, since that was like shoving an entire gallon of water into someone, instead of letting them sip it slowly. Still, it wasn't like Nimrod was dead, so he continued, quickly getting to work after summoning his forces and using Cassia's resources to build the wall, adding a Psyker and Blank support staff just in case, allowing Imperials to go through this rift whenever they wanted, provided Cassia shared this information with the Imperium (she didn't).

With that problem handled, Nimrod asked if Nova and Cassia still wanted to join him, to which Nova agreed, but Cassia didn't. Cassia had many duties to attend to, and Nova was now an adult, something Cassia could admit. However, Cassia DID spend a night with Nimrod, blessing her wife a second child as she sent Nimrod and Nova on their way to join his harem, with both of them somewhat worried about his potentially debaucherous lifestyle.

Lastly, Nova Orsellio became the Fleet Pillar, managing all space fleets, and currently all vehicle battalions till new pillars can be appointed.
