Cassandra, Surrogate Mother

Author's note: this chapter is told by Cassandra in her point of view.

It's been a few months now since Katie has come into my life. The adorable little futanari vampire had become like a daughter to me.

For the last few months she has been living at my house. It has been a joy having her here. Lately though I've noticed she has been somewhat depressed. Katie has finally confided with me what the issue is. She wishes to visit the graves of her family in Texas.

I think it's a wonderful idea. It will help bring her some closure. I've offered to go with her as she travels to Texas to pay her last respects to her family and to offer her my support.

So we've made arrangements with a network of human familiars whose task it is to offer vampires travel aid and safe lodging. We now travel to Texas. I hope this gives Katie some closure.
