Using the BodyBnB app, they're able to offer their body for absolutely free for anyone to possess. Her adventure starts as she reluctantly lists her body on the app.

You push open the door to room 214, and the first thing that hits you is the smell – a curious blend of antiseptic cleaner and something floral trying desperately to mask it. The standard-issue dorm room is split symmetrically down the middle, two single beds pressed against opposite walls, two desks, two dressers. One half remains pristine, untouched. The other half looks like someone's life exploded across every surface.

You open the BodyBnB app, going to the specific channel for members of your sorority and brother fraternity and setting up your profile, allowing anyone from either to control your body while you remain ****.

You tap through the BodyBnB interface, the blue light of your phone illuminating your face as you complete your profile. The app prompts you to fill out a series of questions—height, weight, eye color, hair color—all the basics that would help someone decide if they want to wear your skin for a day. Your finger hesitates over the toggles for various permissions: Allow possession while sleeping? Allow possession during class hours? Allow physical alterations?

You toggle most of them on, knowing that's what's expected for pledges. The final screen asks for a profile picture and description. You snap a quick selfie, wincing at how nervous you look, but upload it anyway. For the description, you type: "Freshman pledge fulfilling sorority requirements. Body available for one week. Please return in same condition."

A notification pings almost immediately and you feel yourself lose consciousness.
