Carl Wheezer and you found something tempting

Being best friends with a genius could be taxing at times.

Sure it provided a lot of adventure, interesting things, and unique situation, but man if it didn't cause a headache some times.

"What's going on Jimmy?" Carl asked as he looked at Jimmy, who had a box of stuff.

"Hey, Carl, sorry but can you hold onto this stuff for me? I need to make space in the lab and I don't have time to go to my storage area today." Jimmy said making Carl grimace since last time he stored stuff for Jimmy, he woke up to a lime jello monster trying to eat him before it randomly exploded and covered his entire room in jello.

It took him weeks to get rid of all the jello.

"Oh, I don't know Jimmy, last time was a bit rough." Carl said hesitantly and Jimmy waved him off.

"Don't worry, no zappers, ray guns, mutators, or anything like that. Just some components and simple items." Jimmy said and Carl groaned a bit.

"I don't know if my parents would like it, Jimmy." Carl said but Jimmy wasn't listening as he looked at his watch and quickly handed the stuff to Carl.

"Yeah, sure, no problem Carl. Thanks again, gotta go." Jimmy said as he left leaving Carl there holding the box and he sighed before he went into the house and went to the basement to put the box there.

However, as he did, he got curious and decided to see what was in it.

He saw some odds and ends without knowing what they were before he came across something he did know.

It was a ray gun looking item with a large spiral disk attached to it.

It was Jimmy's last model of the Hypnobeam.

"I thought Jimmy said it wasn't going to be any beams in the box?" Carl said with confusion.

"Carl!" His mother called, sounding a bit angry or annoyed, making him jump before he spun and accidentally pulled the trigger, "Have you seen-" She stopped as the beam hit her and she froze.

Carl stammered and tried to think of something, "Uh.... you came down here to see if I wanted Pot Roast tonight." Carl said quickly as he let go of the ray and his mom shook her head.

"Wha?" She said as she blinked. "Oh, honey, do you want Pot Roast for dinner?" She asked and Carl gulped and nodded before she smiled and left with Carl looking at the Hypnobeam in awe.

With this... he could get anything and get anyone do to anything.

He could finally get Judy.
