Car wreck

Zack knew something was up when he saw Shawn pulling up next to his car. Zack suddenly did not feel comfortable so he picked up the speed and looked over. Chloe followed his gaze and saw Shawn, "Isn't that Dustin's brother?" asked Chloe. She tried to tell Zack to slow down but he couldn't hear her over the roar of the tires. Shawn also picked up his speed, trying to keep up with Zack. Then out of nowhere, Shawn's car drove straight into Zack's. His car repeatedly slammed into his side. Zack's heart was pounding and thumping against his chest, trying to burst free. "WHY IS HE DOING THIS!?" Zack screamed to himself.

Chloe screamed and Zack instinctively tried to protect her. He let go of the steering wheel and instead covered her with his body. The car careened off the side of the highway and lurched down a steep incline. Zack spotted Shawn's car flipping over the side of the highway and landing on its top.

Zack's car was still falling to the ground and it was fast approaching. Zack felt Chloe's tears in his chest and he whispered, "I love you." The car landed on the ground below the highway with a resounding boom. The impact caused Zack to land in his spine and head, hard. Zack tried his best to protect Chloe from any hard impact. The pain was unbearable and he heard Chloe screaming. Zack felt and tasted blood. He couldn't tell if it was his or Chloe's. Zack felt himself slowly fading away.

Zack closed his eyes and suddenly everything was dark.
