Car ride

Ezra nad Eva were sitting up front while Katie was in back seat. They slowly started talking about Chicago, work, her mentor John that basically introduced Katie to Applebaums and got her this exciting teaching position in Chicago.

"So Katie are you excited about living and working here in Chi-town?" asked Ezra

"Oh yeah I'm definitely excited, I really can't process everything still and honestly I never thought about living and working in big city like this so I'm a bit scared but I really want to be a teacher so I'm sure I will adapt to all of this." said Katie

"I'm sure it's sort of a culture shock to move from small midwestern town to big city like Chicago but I can assure you that you will fall in love with this way of life, like most young people do" said Eva

"I really hope so." silently said Katie while looking through the window at Chicago scenery inlate summer afternoon. She tought about her love Brian, she tought about her family and how sad they were that she was leaving for at least a year. She was never away from home for that long and it worried all of them. Katie was really scared that long distance relationship with Brian won't work.

Eventually they arrived at their townhouse. It was in sorta nice neighborhood on south side of town very close to school where they work. Town house looked good and they informed Katie that she will live on first floor in little one bedroom appartment while Applebaums live downstairs. Her appartment has own stairs so that she is free to go out and come home whenever she likes to. Katie liked that because she didn't want to disturb the lovely couple.

Inside she was happy that her appartment looked nice and that she has everything she needs for start. Nice bedroom, nice bathroom and cute living room with couch and small kitchen. She snapped a picture anad immediately posted on her IG profile.

Ezra and Eva invited her for dinner and she gladly accepted it.
