Car Trouble

You point to your car a little ways down the road. "I'm sorry, but my car broke down and my cellphone is dead. Could you call up a towing company or something for me? And a cab?"

The security guard gives you a look and heads into the security booth. He picks up the phone and dials, "Hello... we have a motorist with some car trouble... yes... hold on." He turns to you, "Are you in a hurry to meet anyone?"

"No," you say, "I'm just passing through."

The guard returns to the phone, "He's just passing through... my thought exactly... I'll let him know."

He hangs up and turns to you, "The tow truck company said they are busy, but they'll be here as soon as they can. Feel free to come into the neighborhood while you wait." He opens the gate and beckons you in. "The surrounding neighborhoods are the bad part of town, but we keep things safe in here."

You nod your thanks and enter the gated community.
