Car Conversation

As the woman who had essentially kidnapped her drove off, Bella shuddered at what would happen to her. She was at the mercy of this woman with no way to contact anyone without a phone. Her oonly hope was that someone would see an abandoned polica car, which would start its own search from there on. Bella turned to the iaper bag beside her and she sighed, knowing that she couldn't do anything at the moment other than bide her time.

The woman looked at her through her reflection and said, "How does it feel to be a criminal, little cop?"

"I'm not a criminal. It was just a mistake."

"Many "mistakes" are illegal and can lead to fines and jailtime. But surely you know that already."

"What do you want from me?" asked Bella, sounding a little desparate. "If it's about me pulling you over, then I guess I'm sorry for doing my job."

"If you were really doing your job, then you would've remembered to grab your wallet with your license before being on the road. This is about me punishing you for being a little hypocrite. I'm going to treat you as if you are a criminal and hopefully, you'll gain a different persepective on things."

"How long?" asked Bella.

"However long it needs to be, little cop. But frst, I need to drop off some stuff for my daughter."
