“Of course. Sweet dreams.” The two of you share one more kiss, and then you part. Neither of you mention the fact that lingers in both of your minds; that tomorrow morning will be the last time you see each other for some time. Still, you’re going to keep in touch, and you will be back. These thoughts in mind, you head up to your room, determined to get to bed ASAP so you can wake up early enough to spend some time with your girlfriend before you leave.

Once you’re back in your room, a wave of exhaustion washes over you; this has been one hell of a day. Before you can go to sleep though, you have some texts to answer, some of which you should have answered a while ago… Congratulations from Mom, Daisy, Kim, and Professor Oak all get their proper responses, and you apologize for having waited for so long. They are all understanding, assuming you were out celebrating, and you’re grateful to have so many supportive people back home rooting for you. Your Mom and Daisy also get told about your new girlfriend, and they both seem ecstatic. You’ll have to actually introduce them at some point, and you want to actually talk on the phone with them soon.

After a bit of internal debate, you decide to tell Daisy what you’ve found out about Arthur; which is basically nothing. You let her know that you asked Brooke, who said she would ask other gym leaders if they knew anything. You also tell her about what Joy said, though it doesn’t provide any clues either.

You head into the bathroom and turn the light on, standing there naked. @Trainer_Red: Which road out of town did you use when leaving Pewter City?

@SilverSteel: ? The road. The one we came in from.

@Trainer_Red: The south road, then?

@Trainer_Red: Route 3, Route 4, and Mt. Moon are all to the east, so you needed to leave by the east road. There is a cave to the south, which takes a day to get through and leads to Vermillion City. But that’s Diglett’s cave, not Mt. Moon. You got lost. There is a gym there though, so it’s not all bad!

You honestly feel bad for the girl. This has to be some kind of medical condition. Or a curse. Several minutes pass, and you’re about to just go to sleep, when you receive the last text you get from Silver tonight.

Chuckling, you shut off your Pokédex, setting an early alarm so that you can get up early enough to spend time with your girlfriend before you, Daniel, and Kayla leave Pewter City. As you drift off to sleep, dreams of pink-haired beauties welcome you like a warm blanket…
