Candy's Date: End

Gabriella looked at Misty deep in thought as she finished her story "So that's what's been going on and I thought I should tell you."

"Because this star card told you to?"

"Well yes, the Star generally represent hope or rejuvenation. You were rejuvenated to half your age, that seems a clear lead to you. For what I don't know."

"Well I have been trying to work out the mathematics behind the "magic" we've seen so far. It has to be there, math is the foundation of everything, the language of reality. But if what you said about Shar controlling the weather is true... Do you know how incredibly complex weather patterns are? It takes huge networks of computers to map weather systems. If she's doing something like that in her head, well obviously she isn't human but it means it's not something we're likely to duplicate."

"Tied to her emotions doesn't have to mean she's controlling it directly though, either way she pointed me back to my cards though not the weather."

"So she did, and you're sure your getting true answers from them?"

"No. It might be all in my head, but it's not just the reading, the cards have been different. I've gone through my deck several times and everything is normal but I drew three Towers in a row, that isn't possible."

"What we need is empirical evidence. Tell me what will happen if I go to the entrance of the hedge maze, then I'll go there and we'll see if that adds up."

"That would put you at risk though."

"Well if you tell me it's certain disaster I'll pick another spot."

"Okay but this still seems really risky and so far I've only gotten special readings for myself."

Misty had Gabriella shuffle the cards then laid out a simple spread. The Star, that was a good sign. If she had a special card for the Professor that could certainly come in handy. The Lovers, well this could be considered a partnership but what was the outcome? Eight of Wands... Movement, fast paced action, or travel?

"I think this is just saying you'll go there, which is a bit silly. I think the Star represent you again and the Lovers our partnership but the last is just movement or action."

"Well that's certainly vague. Maybe it means we won't find anything at the entrance and our going there is the only event?"

"Sounds like it but the cards stayed the way they should so I don't know if this even worked."

"Only one way to know, if we leave now we can head back to the dinning hall for dinner afterwards."

Susan, Carla, and Kim, were already sitting down to eat when Tracy came in leading Stacy by her leash. "Just a little farther and I'll let go like I promised." Tracy taunted her sister.

"You cheated, this is so unfair."

"You're the one that wanted to go swimming so you could strip in front of me for points, don't think I didn't catch that, and you're the one that wanted to spar after for who knows what kind of forfeit. So you have only yourself to blame for being led around like a pet."

The others who didn't know the twins really didn't know what to say about this exchange though Kim and Carla obviously found it funnier than Susan did.

"You grabbed my leash when we sparred. That's cheating!"

"You wear a magic leash into the ring that's on you. Now I told you I was only going to make you crawl around until dinner and as I am a woman of my word here you go."

Stacy was about to give a scathing retort as she stood up after Tracy released her stupid leash but at that moment Anna in just t-shirt, jeans, and socks came through the door and everyone stared shocked.

"So uh, Turns out not all the treasure cards are safe guys."

"So you're really happy about being here?" Laura asked over the pizza Candy and her were sharing for dinner "You're okay about the whole harem thing?"

"I really am. I know I have to share you with the others, but I've always had to share you. And you say you aren't into girls anymore but that's okay I don't need you to get physical with me, even if I really want it..." She whispered the last "And this is a great vacation and you really needed time off."

"But Candy the transformations, we've both already been changed..."

"Pffft. I'd have done anything you asked already, I don't need a transformation to obey you. And I love my wings! And as soon as I can afford a upgrade I'll be able to fly!"

"If you're happy with them I'm happy with them Candy but it's probably going to get worse from here. What about losing your pastels? You want to wear all black forever?"

"No. But you'd be happier if I did."

"Candy, I never wanted to **** you to wear black or I'd have tried harder when we clashed back in school." They both laughed over the memories.

"It's okay. I can take it if it means being with you. I don't know if I'd ever have gotten the courage to say something but now thanks to coming here I don't have to hide anymore."

"Okay, we'll get through this together, and I'm not going to hold you at arms length. Shar's made it very clear if I don't want you or the others to suffer eliminations I need to be more open and stop denying my sexuality. It's still going to take time for me to get comfortable with this though, especially with my sisters, even if Tracy is a little horn goblin."

"Take all the time you need, I'm easy. Anna might be tough to reach though, I think your break up really hurt her."

"Yeah Anna is going to be rough, and I'll be seeing her soon."

"Misty tomorrow, that should be fine. Right?"

"Yeah she should be fine, what happened wasn't her fault." Laura chuckled "I really don't deserve you Candy, never have. You've always been there for me and I just took you for granted. Lets finish this wine then go to bed and see what kind of points you get for cuddling your master."

"As you wish."

Kim and Carla were already in bed and wondering what had happened to their roommate when Misty staggered through the door. Her hair was a mess and her clothes under her robe disheveled and dirty.

Carla sat up worried at the state of the shorter woman "What happened? You look like someone attacked you."

"Um. Kinda?" Misty replied hesitantly.

"And why weren't you at dinner?" Kim asked, sitting up as well. "Was the Professor with you?"

"Um. Yes?" Misty shuffled over towards the bathroom door. "It's kind of embarrassing. We went to the hedge maze and she found a trap."

"What happened? Is she okay?"

"Oh yeah, the trap only lasted a few hours. I really need a shower." And Misty disappeared behind the door.

Carly turned to Kim and asked "Is it just me or did she reek of sex?"

"Sounds more like she found a treasure card to me." The redhead waggled her eyebrows at her girlfriend before being hit with a pillow.
