Candace: The Half-Angel

Born from the unholy union between human and angel, Candace was raised by nuns within a convent shortly after her mother passed away after having given birth to her. Ever serious, to the point of showing no emotion at all, due to the constant **** she faced while at the convent, Candace can be considered less of a person and more of a weapon. The convent she lived at is a subsidiary of an organization of exorcists; as such, despite disliking the existence of this unholy child, they looked at her as an ace in the hole of sorts. Hidden away from others for most of her life, the only interactions Candace gets with other people are typically when she's sent out to conduct an exorcism. Her only real friend she has in her life is her devotion to religion, despite being constantly taught that she is an abomination. Although she sometimes participates in exorcisms, Candace has no real skill in being an exorcist and is primarily used by her group to kill demons when they are too strong to send them back to hell, even if it means killing the host alongside them. It's most likely just an excuse not to get their hands dirty, reasoning that the one who should sin be the one that was born of sin. Because of this, Candace is rather indifferent to basically everything that isn't praying for several hours a day or getting the chance to kill a demon. In fact, she takes so much pride in being a weapon of god that she actually develops a bit of a personality, becoming extremely cocky to the point of letting the demon reach the strongest it can (As long as it doesn't come at the expense of others) just to prove her worth. A worth that no one who knows her seems to validate. She's only recently become a student at this school after having tracked a demon all across the country to your town.

Standing at 6'2 (189 cm) and weighing in at 143 lbs (65 kg), Candace's exact ethnicity cannot be pinpointed just by looking at her. The Half-Angel girl has natural strawberry blonde hair that is styled into a bob, blue eyes, and lacks eyebrows. When in a casual setting, she typically wears her burgundy-coloured nun habit with a dove symbol on the coif. When on duty, Candace opts to wear a white cropped t-shirt that is many sizes too big for her, a navy blue skirt that reaches down to the ankles though is open on the left side, leaving the entirety of her left leg exposed, a white translucent jacket that comes with a bronze spaulder on her right shoulder, and thigh-high boots with razor-sharp four-inch heels shaped like crosses. The wrist of her left arm is adorned with all sorts of silver religious jewellery, and she wears gold lipstick on her lips (The lipstick isn't a style choice of her own but instead a staple of what all exorcists in her organization wear while on duty). Candace may appear to look like a normal human with almost no angelic traits; this is due to her creating an inhibited form in an attempt to gain more respect from her peers. When released, Candace gains a large pair of featherless wings that don't form properly as the fleshy membrane that covers them fails to reach up to the phalanges, leaving the bone exposed. Despite the fact that they are supposed to have feathers, the wings resemble a bat's wing in terms of bone structure rather than a bird's. The wings have a total wingspan of two hundred forty-nine centimeters from one wing to the other. Cracks form in her skull, allowing blood vessels to leak out and form a halo of tissue over her head. A thick membrane of skin forms over her eyes, blinding her from using them. In turn, golden energy leaks out from all over her body, creating the shape of an eye through every part of her body, from which she can see from. The golden energy emanates from every orifice of her body and produces a small amount of UV radiation. Her nails and teeth become needle-like and gain a metallic colour to them. Candace's hair grows in length and becomes an almost ethereal energy. Her released form also greatly increase her musculature in comparison to her inhibited form.

Half-Angel Rules:

1. Due to her body attempting to reject her existence, Candace constantly feels an indescribably intense pain tormenting her, one which she can never adjust to. The only reason she doesn't appear to be in pain is due to how emotionally withdrawn she is.
2. Like most angels, Candace is completely immortal...
3. ...Unfortunately she lacks their invulnerability as well, meaning she can take damage. While she may have superior regenerative abilities compared to a regular human, Candace's healing factor is nothing impressive. (For example, if she were horizontally bisected, it would take her thirty years to fully recover from the injury.)
4. Candace also ages at the normal rate of humans despite her immortality, which means that despite being unable to die from disease, injury, or even natural causes, Candace will continue to age as her body deteriorates.
5. Candace's inhuman strength, ironically, isn't a result of her angelic heritage but instead just a result of her training her body to its upper most human limits.
6. Due to the union between angel and human being taboo, Candace is destined to be sent to hell as punishment for her existence in the event that she does die.
7. Like all angels, Candace is able to generate her own weapon. Candace creates a Zweihänder from a pool of holy energy stored within her chest. The indestructible weapon is able to be returned back to its source when not in use.
8. Candace is able to remove all manors of curses or religious seals due to her angelic heritage.
